Yep. This is the Gamecube version. If you get the Wii version, you won't be seeing DK on the bottom left corner of the screen

This game looks better than the nintendo one but it seems more complex because you're using the bongos. I'm more used to playing the other one sometimes because the controller for the nintendo one is easier to use.

I can't believe how much i suck at this game after watching this video...I can't even get platnium on the banana kingdom and i have only 56 crests. It was amazing when you went back and got all those banana's in the beginning with the squirrel thing.

One of the most unrated games ever. I remember playing Donkey Kong jungle beat at a friends house a long time ago and it was awesome. Nothing I expected from the Donkey Kong series

This can get you more points with the bananas, but it may be tricky to get past the frogs and get a combo again. The first frog can be blown up so you grab it along with some bananas though.

What are your beat and time totals? Mine are 106524 beats and 3893.38 seconds.

~At the section going upward just before the mushrooms at the end, you can get a 7 combo with an edge hop If you ditch flurl on a wall and walljump just so you get an edge hop to the right, but are able to tap left fast enough so you don't land immediately.

~In the tube with bananas immediately after, you can get wall jump combos on the wall above you. It looks really weird, but it's not too hard to poll off. I've only been able to get 1 banana at once with that though.

~This may not help, but at the start of Jungle Deeps, could the 1st row of 5 bananas on ground be picked up with the Flurl combo later?

Awesome! The 72 drumroll was amazing. I'm an amateur at the game, but I found some things you missed:

~At the 1st hog enemy (blue sleeping), you can get a 7 combo by not stunning him and landing on him. You'll bounce off him and will get what I like to call a "reverse edge hop" if you go high and to the right. By the way this is in the 2nd credits.

Incredible, this clip helps highlight why this is the best game of all time. There's a heap of things you can improve from that too. I wonder if the beat limits will ever be reached?
