I also consider anyone who chooses to fight in such a war foolish.

I know what drafting is, my point was that nobody would accept being drafted into an army fighing an unjust war, and they couldnt force it, if they tried there would be rioting in the streets. I understand the necessity of drafting in World War's 1 and 2 (when did conscription start? was it as early as the 30's?) because those wars were neccessary however the Iraq war is not. I also consider anyone who chooses to fight in such a war foolish.

The iraq war is not entirely justified but if you join the army for good reasons such as to defend your country meet people and gain personal strength etc. i'm pretty sure you have to go to any war they want you to go to or face heavy penalities and laws.
