  • wat caind of nail is that is a regular nail?

  • @Marys91621 It's a full acrylic nail extension, created using our unique product called Inverted Moulds :-)

  • love love love

  • love this

  • can i get this nail to apply l&p to at Sally's nail supply?

  • @rudyandcindy1 Not sure what you mean? Can you buy Inverted Moulds from Sally? Then the answer is no, we mail order directly through our website and send direct to your home.

  • @InvertedNailSystems I think what they were asking is if you can apply any brand of acrylic to the moulds?

  • @GODGiftToMe Oh ok :-) Yes, you can. We do recommend using a faster setting acrylic though. The slow set stuff is actually more difficult to work with when using with IM's. :-)

  • Great!

  • I have to admit.

    this is pretty epic.

  • @Ninjlettemawfawkuhh thanks :-)

  • is this acrylic liquid and powder?

  • Hi, you have made great video's.... I must have watch them over a thousand times! :) I have a question: how do you know where to make the smile line? Is there any trick to know where to place it??

  • this vid is soo awsome

  • tell me where you live so i can go over to your house and you can do my nail

  • great for Halloween

  • @cakestudent95 yep :-) But you can substitute different cane slices and coloured glitters / powders for other occasions too. The only thing that limits you is your imagination :-)

  • that real candy ?

  • what kind of nails are those that u are using?

  • @Xxjaselmen2009xX Hi they are called Inverted Moulds :-)

  • where did you get the glitter

  • @makeupbymikki well sell it through out sister website thenailartist, just go to our YouTube channel and you will see the link in the information section.

  • perfect!

  • thats so cool :) well i hope to learn much more lol

  • ok thanks :) i love your tutorials i've been watching htem and i must say i like this method. where did you get the rock candy for this specific tutorial by the way and are there other designs of rock candy aside from skulls?

  • @spiritka311 Thank you :-) Leanne the tech in the video made the skulls herself. If you go to her website, TheNailArtist (link is on our channel page) you can find them there, plus some other types of cane slices. You should also checkout our 'Cocktail Nails' video, we used fruit cane slices to make drinks with lol.

  • oh ok but of course you still have to puch back the cuticle and file the nail surface still right otherwise the nial wont last very long at all

  • @spiritka311 yes natural nail prep is essential to the nail staying on and using a high end acrylic product will give you best results. Remember IM's are a method of application, they do give added strength to the overall nail and of course the act of compression during application means you get a better bond, but if you fail to prep correctly or use a low quality acrylic then unexpected results can occur. :-) So use IM's, a good set of acrylics and prep correctly and you have a winning combo!

  • how long do tha nails last? a week a month?

  • @spiritka311 well they are full acrylic sculptured nails, so they last very well, much better than if you used tips (sorry to any techs that uses tips). The length of time they last really does depend on the natural nail growth of the client. But we regularly have clients go 4+ weeks.

  • Wat size is the brush

  • @ForevernAlways559 Hi, it's a Round Number 8. You get this exact brush from The Nail Artist Website. Just check our main YouTube channel page for the link :-)

  • The design is really amazing. And quite unique! Congrats!!!

  • ya well you are really good i want to be a nail artist too just like you

  • Where can you find those clear nail 'Plates' in drubstores? Or do you find them in professional nail salons?

  • Hi, in professional salons, you really need a nail tech with liquid and powder experience to use them. You have to remember using IM's is a technical skill and they take practice to use correctly. :-)

  • Awsome !!

  • This is how to makes fake nails, right?

  • Yes! :-)

  • Sorry but how i don´t understand.... you apply the black glitter... and the skulls?Do you apply the black glitter over the skulls?

  • Hi, yes you apply the black glitter over the skulls. But the skull design can be seen on 'Both' sides of the slice. Your actually covering the 'Back' of the slice with glitter so when you turn the IM over you can see the front of the slice with the lazer light and black glitter in the background. Hope that helps :-)

  • i really cant find the place to buy those things

  • Hi, the link to our website is in the description :-) once at ur home page just follow the FREE TRAINING link and that will take you to the purchase page for the IM's. :-) HTH's

  • so cute! do my nails next lol

  • what are the 'popits' made of? are they just like a shaped nail tip??

  • Not really what they are made from. The shape is different to Inverted Moulds, because with IM's you have to trim them to fit the natural nail exactly. HTH's

  • Is there a benefit to having inverted nails or is it just a new technique?

  • Lots, from a techs point of view but the biggest advantage is there's no buffing, so you are guaranteed a super smooth and glossy finish every time. For clients they are getting a FULL acrylic sculptured nail extension, which of course are much stronger and reliable than tips. And because the mould bonds with the acrylic you get this strong 'shell' like protection for the acrylic which reduces chip damage and breakages. They are also 'Custom Fit' so they are very comfortable to wear. HTH's

  • oooh that makes so much more sense, yeah that helps, ty 4 ur prompt reply :)

  • Ur Welcome ;-)

  • i like the music

  • where can we buy the clear things at???

  • Hi our website link is in the description section. Cheers ENUK

  • I do these inverted nails and I live in the US Tennessee to be exact :-)

  • these are incredible! does every place do them or where could i get these done?!

    thanks

  • Hi, no not everywhere does them. We are based in Cheshire (England) so lots of salons in our area do them, but Inverted application is trickier to learn than people think so they prefer to stick to the system they originally trained in. Lots of clients are now asking their techs about offering IM's but like all things it takes time for things like this to catch on. :-)

  • love your nails

  • thnx it's nice

  • Do you need fake nails to do thing or can you do it with real nails?

Also, How do you take it off if you wanna change the color?

  • Hi, fake only. The nail extension is made from liquid and powder acrylic and can be removed by soaking off with acetone / tip remover. HTH's

  • Idea is very good

  • wow

  • thats such a great technique!!!!

  • I love it!! Ok, but I don't do nails, I always get them done in a nail studio... I get "Young Nails " , but can I get THESE nails done anywhere in the Czech republic?? either that or I'm gonna order your products and start by myself, lol :P

  • si lo pudieran explicar en español seria genial

  • can you use this method with regular clear nails instead of IM's?

  • Hi, thanks for your question. Not really no. IM's are very very thin and flexible, if you compared it to a clear tip you would see instantly that a clear tip is much thicker and ridged so it would take far more effort (not to mention time) to customise them to fit the natural nail. Also the shape is totally different, IM's are designed to easily customised to fit the entire nail plate, clear tips are designed to be glued to the free edge. HTH's

  • where can i buy these IM's?

  • A link to our website is in the description to this video (top right corner of this page). When you buy a 300pk (50 of each size and there are 6 different width sizes) you get full access to our members training website with over 3hrs of videos to watch!. HTH's

  • how comes the acrylic powder and the liquid i use set really quickly? like..within 2 secs. like adjusting and cleaning up the smile line, i wouldnt be able to do that because it is already set completely..

  • Ok, first you can get different 'Speeds' of acrylic from fast to slow setting. It sounds like your using fast set. Second, acrylics are 'Heat' activated, so if you are working in a warm nail room and your acrylic liquid is warm then your acrylic will set very fast. In all our videos we use fast set powders and liquids and we struggle with the acrylic setting fast especially as we film under 2 very hot spot lamps. Suggest you try a slower setting acrylic or crank up your Air Con. HTH's

  • That's super cute!

  • I have been searching for 'lazer light' do you have an online source for purchasing to recommend?

  • Hi we are starting a new website where you can buy all the nail art you see in our videos. It will be ready soon. Cheers.

  • what is l&p??

  • Hi L&P stands for Liquid and Powder acrylics. Off camera the tech dips her brush into the acrylic liquid (aka monomer) then draws it across her acrylic powder (aka polymer) as the powder comes into contact with the liquid it collects on the tip of the brush, this is a L&P mix. The tech can now sculpt with this 'bead' of L&P in the IM (Inverted Mould). Now depending on the speed set of the acrylics (we use fast set) the amount of time you have before the L&P cures (goes hard) varies. HTH's

  • very pretty (=

  • Gorgeous nails!!

    I'm soo subscribing!!

  • Thank's!!!

  • cool!! where you buy all that suppies that you need and the stickers where you buy it from??

  • Hi, the skulls are actually 'Cane Slices' made from 'Fimo' you can find them on Ebay or from other online nail art suppliers HTH's

  • hi!

when i use acrylic on nails, it always goes yellow like in a few days,

    how should i prevent that?

and what should i do to create a very shiny transparent finish, the clear acrylic seems always be going foggy after a while

    thanks!

  • Hi, sounds like the brand of acrylics you are using. We'd suggest trying another range. The UV light absorbers in the monomer (the liquid) are not strong enough, so after a few days of sunlight exposure the acrylic gets that yellow tinged look. Try that and see if that fixes the problem with your acrylics. Because we use Inverted Moulds we always get an instant glossy finish, but you could use a UV topcoat sealer. HTH's

  • Oh and thanks for subscribing!

  • Where can you buy those skull for your nails ?

  • Hi, think we got these ones off EBAY, HTH's

  • das sieht richtig gut aus.

  • Danke!

  • i have a few questions

    is that plastic thing reusable?

can i buy the l&p stuff at a beauty supply store? how long does it take 2 dry?

  • Hi, no the IM (Inverted Mould) is not reusable, they become part of the finished nail extension because the chemically bond with the acrylic, that's why they look so glossy and shiny, that's not polish or a UV topcoat, that's the IM! Yes you can buy L&P from a beauty supply store, there are many different brands to choose from. Again, different acrylics dry 'cure' at different speeds, you can get fast, med-fast, medium and slow setting acrylics, all will work with IM's but we use 'Fast' set.

  • That is crazy! I love that! I don't have the patience to do that kind of thing, and I'd most likely lose and eye with nails that long [lol] but still - very hot. Your very creative.

  • k ute

  • Awesome!!
