  • Handsfree or it was the unlocked helmet..? lol.... Nice video.....

  • @z8wr its the lens cap of the camera , thanks :)

  • fz6-fazer-2005-98-hp_auto

  • nice i have 2 Yamaha FZ6's and buying a third one cause i crashed the two of them lol

  • W.O.O.W

  • You should go faster....

  • Did you have any after market exhaust installed? If not, what is the BHP difference between stock and K&N with PC3?

  • There's actually bettery handeling with the fazer than the gsxr... but two different styles of bikes, more a yamaha fan overall, good all rounders and great for road riding + they make plus sporty bikes. obviously on a straight long run the fz6 won't keep but if it was a test of 30 minutes plus of riding, the yamaha rider wouldnt be dieing from extreme back and shoulder pain... still rather have both bikes :0)

  • muito loco cara!

  • Καμια διαφορα σε μηχανη,πλαισιο και επιδοσεις,οι μόνες αλλαγες ειναι στα αυτοκολλητα της μασκας!!!!

  • guys something irrelavant... is there any difference between fazer s2 2008 and s2 2009 ??

  • @Gaidouridhs ..No not at all , 2007 2008 2009 are the same exact models with 98 hp engine

  • @tolga1977 Arent there some cosmetic changes ? Exhaust pipes on my 2008 look a bit different than 2007 I belive.

  • @Zaragoza2006 as far as i know only cosmetic difference (and overall) is the color of the bike...07 is red and blue only..08 is black and dont know what else

  • is it just me or does it go slow after 150? cause maybe it just looks faster on an analog speedo... not a fan of the digital, 2fps lol

  • nonoonono 177km xD

  • hmm..

    1- different category of bikes.

2-i pay 1/4 of what you pay for insurance

3-i dont have constant backpain and discomfort while riding

4-the top speed of fz6 is around 250 km/h,not even close to what you mention

5-if its a gsxr600 you are talking about,i would be right on your tail on every kind of ride.

6-if you are a lousy rider, you might even be looking at my underseat dual pipes

    7-lawl

  • I understand its a diff category. I ride a 2007 gsxr 1000 for the speed and adrenaline.. if I wanted comfort I would go with a bmw bike. and ur top is around 155mph? thats pretty good. I have a 350lb friend on a fz6 and he hits 140mph top. And I think we all know what the gsxr 1000s are capable of. anyways no disrespect. riding is a life.

  • cool.. gsxr1000 is another story,,i cant get even close , lol..nothing against them anyways, just defending my territory hehe..definitely ive done 155 mph with it..i got pcIII usb and -1 counter sprocket..this video was the first day i had this bike, was just testing the cam mount. i have a drag video that does 207 km/h on 4th with new setting..watch that..have fun with the gixxer, its a fast one

  • @tolga1977 yeah!

  • well your not big headed mate and your own what bike? i guess it has no chance against my yamaha r1 turbo?

  • @tolga1977

    1 - true

    2 - i highly doubt it

3 - u shouldn't anyway, if you have constant backpain from riding, you have other issues, it's not the bike's fault

    4 - true, but it will in 3rd gear (if it's a gsxr1000)

5 - highly doubt that also, unless he is a lousy rider like you said

6 - he'd have to be VERY bad rider

7 - not sure what LAWL stands for

8 - i don't even like suzuki so i'm not taking his side by any means...

  • @lnromandude

    1- we agree on this

2-$70 per year.do the math,no need to doubt , just ask.

3-we are talking about 2-3+ hours of ride , i know how a gsxr or a cbr rr or r6 rides , rode them all , nothing close to the comfort you get with fz6 , its a comparison , im 33 ,of course i got other issues.

    4-of course its true,no bike hits 250 km/h on 2nd. that was my point.(gsxr1000 hits 239 on 3rd)

    5-nothing to doubt , its a 98 hp 0-100 3 sec bike.180 rear tire

  • @lnromandude

6-no need to be VERY bad , obviously you never rode an fz6 , i understand where you are coming from.

7-its his words ,i just copied it

8-they are all same , if you want different , go with ducati

  • @tolga1977

1 - nothing more to say here

2 - i have friends who paid around $130/year for various yamaha or kawasaki crotch rockets...so definitely not a 1/4 like you said

3 - nobody rides a crotch rocket for 2-3 hours but if you really do, then i could see how you can get some back pain, and yes i agree that the fz6 would be more comfortable

    4 - sounds about right

    5 - umm...weight?? maneuverability?

    6 - can't argue with that...i'll scratch out "VERY"

    7 - ...

  • @tolga1977

8 - WOW!! you read my mind! i'm actually currently in the process of getting a Ducati 1198. the local dealer should be bringing more in this month

  • @lnromandude

LOL our replies are all over the place , good choice with Ducati , im sure you'll like it. Enjoy !

  • @ZetaPunk

I have a 2008 R1 with turbo from mcxpress...it shits on your gixxer 07. I also have a FZ6 and guess what, its a much better ride...

  • yea man.. congrats? did i ever say that sport tourings were less comfortable? and your turbo r1.. lol I bought mine brand new in 07 and I have put.. give or take .. $10k in it. turbo is the only thing I could do to it and i would NEVER do it.. yea its hella more power but if you dont have the center of gravity pin point right from stretching/lowering then youll never keep 100% power on the road. A buddy of mine has an r1 with a lot of mods and he can't even reel me in. BUt hey good luck to you!

  • @ZetaPunk

You`re comparing orange and apples thats the point. Its two different bikes..for the comfort the fz series provides, its very fast both in cornering and on the straight. By the way, when was the last time suzuki was winning anything again? Bet I am faster than you on your suki on my fz6

  • "when was the last time suzuki was winning anything again". lol.. There may be some room to blame the make and models when concering the pros but im sure more than half of it is pertaining to the skill of the rider. And there is no way in hell ur fz6 can beat my gsxr 1000 on track or on straights.. sorry.

  • @ZetaPunk

If youre ever over in europe, I`ll be happy to race you on the Nordschleife. I bet I wont se much of you by Adenauer Forst after 5 km...you and your gixxer lol...if you manage to keep up until Bergwerk I`ll buy you an icecream :)

  • Me and my gsxr.. you speak like im an ignorant suzuki enthusiast. I have owned the zx-10, r1, cbr 1000, and this "gixxer"(its spelled gsxr) and I prefer the suzuki over all of the series. Im appalled that you think an fz6 can out run a gsxr 1000. Im starting to not believe anything you are saying right now. you are probably some kid that has never put his leg over a motorcycle.

  • @ZetaPunk

You just dont get the point now do you. Coming in here complaining about the fz6, comparing it to your 1000...its like saying the BMW M5 is a shit car because its real slow comparing it to a F1 car. Its two completely different bikes, it seems you dont understand that, so I hope for your sake youre not that old, either that or you are just real slow. (in your head that is). Thats why I am saying with you on top of your suzuki, I bet I could outrun you on a FZ6.

  • @ZetaPunk

Also its amazing that someone who has owned all these bikes, talk like you do..one would think you would be a little more reflected.

  • Italians are gay.

  • i love when people think what they are talking about.. you have failed to determine the language/country...most of these comments are spanish and they are from brazil..

commentators that have nothing to do with the video are gay.

  • @tolga1977

"i love when people think what they are talking about.."

They don't speak spanish in Brazil...

  • "to" NZkiffer not @....i didnt write they do speak spanish in Brasil..spanish and portuguese are very similar languages and i was replying to an idiot who in a million years wont be able to tell the difference between those two languages..he might still think its italian..

this video got nothing to do with italians or gays..and that was my point.

  • @tolga1977

The "@" is inserted automatically when I click Reply. Thanks for the attitude though. English and the language you speak are very similar languages too but there are obvious differences.

  • è un mostro l'amore mio agli alti è la migliore delle 600 e dai che tocca i 250 tranquillamente

  • wish i could understand the comments

  • 177

  • è arrivato solo alla 4.......la mia in 6 ha toccato i 235 e saliva ancora.....GRANDE FZ6!!!!!!!!!

  • D'accordo... ma perchè offendere? :-\

  • 12 sec

  • Comment removed

  • What a s h i t ! ! ! Learn how to ride and rev it, man!!! Change gear at 14.000 rpm. Are you afraid? Stay at home...

  • u think u know everything right dumbass? FZ6 's peak power is at 12000 rpm if u change your gears at this rpm u would get the most acceleration out of it..anything past that will slow u down..

I bet u know nothing about FZ6's...Obviously u r the one staying at home all day writing fucked up comments on you tube! get a life!

  • 0-100 on this video is approx. 3.18 seconds,,,try to find the specifications of this bike and let me know what it says on 0-100 time..moron

  • Spare me lecture, man! Don't be fool! I HAVE ONE FZ6-S. The peak power is 12000 rpm and the engine SUSTAIN this level of power until 14000 rpm. Change gear, low rpm, low power... You started to move at 17,1s, lost time leaving the clutch at 19s and got 100km/h at 21,3s (use a chronometer), so 0-100 is 4,2s. You can do it better, in 3,7s or 3,8s, in the right way... Fooool...

  • i have s2 model and i think that it have more rpm than s model....Again thats no big diference...

  • this is s2 also,,98 hp model

  • i know i commenting a guy with s model;-)

ps:i have a leo vince exhaust and without db killers there is more acceletation then with serial exhaust....

  • if u sustain your acceleration from 12k to 14k you will lose time if the bikes peak acceleration stops at 12k,,you just think its better to red line it,,u have no proof of any measuring whatsoever,,i have dynoed my bike,,examined it and researched everything about it,,check a dyno result chart of an FZ6 and you will see the power falling down starting from 12k rpm..it is very simply logical to shift up as soon as u hit that rpm to get the most out of that acceleration..

  • The ideal shiftpoint changes with each gear, as the spreads are different. Second gear is a 68% RPM drop on the fizzy. (14,000 becomes 9600) This makes 1->2 near redline make a lot of sense. Of course, winding out to redline in higher gears is senseless, unless you're leaned over or will be cramming the brakes for a corner :)

  • good point,,wish everyone knows what they are talking about like you :)

your video looks cool , more people should watch it...put up some video responses....

  • launching wasnt perfect, was the first day of bike..u cannot measure exact timing from this video of 0-100 cause speedo jumps from 98 to 103,,i do have a chrono,,i fucking edited the tape,,its hard to measure on digital speedos....clutch poorness doesnt prove your moronic comment about red lining the bike for nothing,,go do your research...and dont forget to watch my dragstrip videos..if you are better, put up a video of yours that 's 1/4 mile is better than 11.83 seconds..just like my video..

  • I'm sorry, mate, it's not my business, but in your dragstrip video you changed gear far beyond 12.000rpm...

  • cheers man no need to say sorry, totally right,,thats the video with 12.04 time, the difference between that video and the one that has 11.83 or 86 whatever is the timing of the changes..i would be more than happy to provide details about the power distribution of the fz6 s2..just pm me your email and i will send the dyno chart....in the video that has the onboard cam,i did do a good launch and perfect 1-2 gear up and then i just had fun cause the other bike couldnt even launch.good eye though :)

  • I'd love to receive the dyno chart, because I have a FZ6-S2 like yours. Please, use your imagination to know my email ahead, because this site is cutting the message: a c . a r ( A T ) u o l . c o m . b r

  • email sent,,if you dont receive it let me know,,cheers

  • Thank you very much and good curves for you!

  • çok iyi ivmesi var asfaltta zor tutulur bu :)

  • hey bud what do you think of the bike.. im lookin to get a 2008 soon and just wonderin your opion of it,

  • it is a nice bike especially if you like to get a 98hp race bike without paying the race bike insurance premiums..

fairly comfortable riding position, good looking bike

  • Echale gasolina!!!

  • always lock your helmet

  • i do !

that's the lens cap of the camera

  • Ahhh sorry....i thought that it was the helmet..sorry again...btw nice video

  • no problem,,thank you,,,...

  • and that was addressed to Nikkobkr .. Cool stunt video by the way.

So is there a way to "fix" the speedometer after gearing down ? And how's the in-town "feel" of the bike after being geared down ? Isn't it a bit more gearshifts and such ?

  • there is a product called "speedohealer" ,its around $100 when you install it,you can adjust the indicated speed..

-1 front is great, absolutely useful,,its a little bit annoying at the highway speeds,,but u dont have to shift more than usual in cruising speeds...only on full throttle you will feel the acceleration difference..front comes up pretty quick.

  • in which way is it annoying at highway speeds ?

  • its a revvy bike,,if you want to cruise at 120km/h for a while,,the original gearing is already around 6k rpm,,,after the -1 mod you gotta take it up to 7k for that speed...if you are doing a lot of highway travelling you should get +1 front instead of -1

  • You're right, of course. It bothered me a bit actually, but I guess that I have to get used to it

  • sorry I had not seen this comment, I speak badly English, you can repeat but more simply?

    Thank

  • nikkobkr I was ironic, I think your stunt video is very cool

  • ok :)

    thank you!

  • You guys are idiots. 177 is not the top speed. he didn't even get out of 4th gear before slowing down. if you laughed you're a moron. And that means you terithedog, mchlpeel, rokybalboa7 (who is obviously a real loser). Use some brain people.

btw that bike can hit 106 in first gear. and the digital speedos are known to climb slower than the bikes actual speed. there not like a needle.

  • lol yea , this video was meant to be done to see the 0-100 km/h time which is around 3.17 secs....the bike tops out around 245 km/h with the original gearing,,i installed -1 front sprocket after the video,,acceleration is way better...anyone who thought this is the top speed of a 98hp engine is a noob and retard anyways :)

  • 3.17 is awesome...btw,,with the -1 front sprocket,,whats your top speed now?

  • the indicated speed stays same as the speedometer is measured from the gearbox not from the tire but as per gps there is approximately 7-8 percent difference..so that brings down the real top speed around 220km/h...but you get there much faster

  • check my Vidéo of my Fazer...N00B :)

  • yes, you're such a noob , hehe ;)

  • Awesome!

  • not fast

  • 0-100 in 3.2 seconds is fast. this guy didn't pull that time, but who cares. He still went fast. And the top speed is more than 178. if you noticed he didn't get out of 4th gear before slowing down.

  • 0 100 fast , but the other gears are not really good , with my z750 i took 119 in first , 165 in 2nd , 203 in third , 224 in fourth , and never went to 5 and 6

  • all bikes are like that. My fz6s2 hit similar figures. 200 in third, only 215 in forth, fifth 238,,and not enough power to out do 6th,,struggling past 248.. doesn't mean there not very good. just the way they are geared.

  • it's what i said , different gears

  • lol... :P

  • 177

    !!!!

  • AHAHAHAHAHA 177

  • i can edit the title anytime but then these comments would look really silly :D

  • 177 LOL

  • 177 -_-
