  • that thing is gunna poke his eyes out.

  • I want to see it jump on someone

  • that looks so real

  • @avadod

Im acctually in the process of designing a new facehugger that will walk. Im only in the design stage at the moment so no previews yet. all on paper at the moment.

IF i do build a new facehugger im hoping to then complete it with skin and Egg sacks.

my main problem at the moment is over coming the balance issue caused by the weight of the tail.

  • @innerbreed Use the tail as a "leg" or "stabilisator" ...... ^^

  • @Atrohpy

I think the best option is to have it made using a foam rubber compound on a thin steel wire. only the base of the tail will be mechanical. that way the tail can still thrash and move about but not in a snake like way.

getting the rest of it to walk is very simple.

  • nice hat do want

  • The facehugger would be a nice addition to the zerg in starcraft 2 XD

  • HOLY SHAT ITS AWESOME

but where are the two flap things on either side of its tail? will you add those when you give it skin?

  • @CuddleBucketsUgly the "flappy" things are its ovaries or egg sacks. unfortunatly i wont be adding them to this puppet as i didnt build it. this is the prop used in the film, before adding the skin.

  • how did u do this

  • @siiiirDevil if your question is asking or implying if i built it then im sorry but i didn't.

if your question is regarding the mechanics/animatronics and puppeteering then i can help you.

  • @innerbreed my question is regrding on the machanic and puppeteering

  • @siiiirDevil

hi. the legs are built using a pulley system that runs down the cables and is connected to a control box full of servos that actuate the movements by pulling or pushing the pulleys that rotate the joints on each leg. the same way your tendons work in your hand. each puppeteer is controlling two legs with their rc transmitters.

  • @innerbreed

looks way better than the way they did it in Aliens. they just put the legs on rotating cams and sped it up backwards.

  • sooooooooooo...good..

  • Lol they should sell a Rc Facehugger to the public.

  • @ 48seconds.. look its the Terminator Facehugger! lol GREAT video!

  • Sehr gut nachempfunden :D

  • its a shame it didn't have the dexterity to actually walk! cool all the same.

  • That's pretty cool! Gotta love Aliens
