1:43 is the most powerful part for me.. spike and vicious back to back, together as best friends. such a tiny moment says so much. i believe this is the only glimpse of a friendship you see.. it's crazy that spike visualizes this memory as he's seemingly falling to his death. perhaps there's a part of him that wishes things never turned sour.

Sure they might change some words, but that's to make the show flow better. It's not like other anime that change the whole meaning of things (example zatch bell), Cowboy bebop still keeps the same message. If you want bad dubs this isn't one of them. I prefer subs most of the time, but this is an exception. Have you ever watched the show dubbed ?

yes i have seen it dubbed. I have the DVD set. I tried watching the dub to see what it was like and it got annoying, fast. Jet Black was the only voice that somewhat fit. Spike sounded bored, faye sounded like an airhead, (and i saw the commentary where her voice actor talked about the dubs, what a retarded bitch), and ed's was horrible. i wasn't expecting so many people to lash out because I don't like dubs. most of the time i'd say its just taste/opinion, but no, you guys are fucked

This scene is so memorable for me because it made Spike a three dimensional character, i had absolutely no idea how an initially stock character of cool could be so captivating to watch!! You dont see much development between Spike and Julia, but these flashbacks create real motivation for Spike
