I hated this movie. The costumes? AMAZING! The animation? AMAZING! Seriously? Everything was great except for the script. "It was a memory Alice" what does that even mean? seriously? I loved the part where the Mat Hatter says the Jabawokey?' Cant spell it sorry. Any waY i ADORED the part when he whispers that poem. They should have done more than that. I think they should have tried to make it just like the book or maybe done the looking glass book.

The diversity in Johnny Depp's characters surprise me every time I see him in a film. Most actors generally tend to play the somewhat same characters over and over again but Johnny continues to pull off playing anything from Jack Sparrow to Willy Wonka and finally, to the Mad Hatter. I think it's an interesting Burton film with some themes going on, for start the theme of individualism is prominent at the start of the movie, then the red queen is an example of individualism gone too far where she is evil as she only cares about her own wishes and not the wishes of others. But I think the ending was kind of naive, that is more down to screenplay than Tim Burton. It could have been better, but it is still an interesting movie.
