In any episode where there is Byakuya in it, everytime he starts to release his Shikai by saying "Chire." , followed by "Senbonzakura." , I dunno why, it always kinda gives me goosebumps!!

here is my personal order of strength: 1.yama jii 2.aizen 3.kyoraku 4.ukitake(we haven't seen the best of him) 5.hitsugaya 6.byakuya 7.kenpachi 8.gin 9.komamura 10.tosen 11.soifon 12.mayuri Unohana may be very high on the list but we haven't seen anyting of her if kisuke was included i would make him 2nd

@lordoftheriffs79 Histugaya got his ass kick by 3rd Espada. Byakuya and Kenpachi pwned Espada 0. They're both also stronger than Kyoraku and Ukitake. As for Kisuke, I'd say he's at Yama's level. Aizen admitted Kisuke was stronger and more intelligent before he fused with the Hogyoku. Toshiro's not very strong.

@SamIAmSXE Yamamoto, Unohana and Kyoraku are the three strongest Captain according to Tito Kube's databook. Followed by, Byakuya, Hitsugaya, Ukitake, then I do not remember.

@SamIAmSXE i totally agree because aizen owned everyone but Kisuke..he had a plan for everyone but him and allowed himself to let his guard down for those kido spells....toshiro is strong but he struggled against an espada because he battled with his emotion and not strategy he always tries to play it cool but in battle he seems to be a bit of a loose cannon especially when he faced aizen

@SamIAmSXE They are NOT stronger than Kyoraku, dude. I'd say he's out of their league, as Kyoraku was way out of the league of espada number one, whereas Byakuya had to use his bankai on espada 7. And Aizen never admitted Kisuke was stronger. He only said that he was more intelligent. It's also worth nothing that Aizen believed that old man Yama could beat him, and created an entire arrancar just to kill him, but he wasn't worried about Urahara's power.

@szewczyk1000 orly? he hasnt lost to anyone besides ichigo yet :D the deal is that he has one of the few bankais that r useful both offensive and defensively, komamura only makes himself a bigger target

@Whippenberg: Lost to ichigo? And i thought it was more like a draw than the loss cos he himself left the battlefield but ok ;). Yes his bankai is both offensive and defensive but not so strong. he had a hard time with zommari who was only 7th. how do you think he could win with the top espadas or captains? think about e.g. respira and then you will know the answer ;)

@Whippenberg yes, hard time. completely kicked his ass you say? in fact he lost his arm and leg and what is more his bankai did not kill the septima so he could not kill 7th in one shot which leads to conclusion that he would have big trouble with stronger hierro and upper espadas

@szewczyk1000 he lost it on his own decision, and after he used bankai, zomarri didnt even have the chance to get a hit in on byakuya( although his powers r dumb anyway) im sure byakuya would b able to beat halibel or nniotra but ulquiorra, barragan and stark would b too high ( although he did beat yammy)

@Whippenberg oh please before he understood zommaris powers he already lost an arm and a leg, it wasn't his own decision. zommari was hurt after gokei but not killed which means that the stronger arrancars would take less damage than he took. yes he took yammi but together with zaraki and we didn't see this battle so we don't know who did what. ulquiorra would be too much and harribel not? 4>3?

@szewczyk1000 he severed them on his own will, instead of having it control him, and even while injured on arm and leg, he still kicked his butt. and ulquiorra would pwn him cuz of his speed, halibel only has power but no defence so byakuya would b able to slice n dice her to hell.

@Whippenberg yes but lost them not from his own will and his bankai did not kill 7th espada in one shot.... that makes his ability to defeat stronger espadas questionable. harribel is 3rd ulquiorra is 4th then if 4th can defeat one then 3rd also right? water can be her defense, can't see senbonzakura petals moving fast in water or cascada not breaking senbonzakura attack. don't get me wrong i like byakuya as a character but now he looks pretty weak when compared to new characters like espadas
