so. . . so much money are lost because of some missions that don't feed the hungry. big people in business are the ones making money and they make laws that without those money we cant buy the things we need. they are all Illuminati...and so if they landed those probes or what they call that, what would they do to it. we can't live there anyways. no offense:P
Very nicely edited! Frankly, a much better use of the music than the crummy movie it came from. LOL You should try doing one of these for "Far Horizions"... maybe use the soundtrack from "Journey to the Far Side of the Sun" by Barry Gray?
I LOVE ASTRONOMY! I hope the human race doesn't destroy itself... There are SO MANY WORLDS with questions we know little or nothing about, but we can find the answers if we truly understand that space exploration is what really matters! Why destroy life when we have the opportunity to find it on other worlds? Let's stop all the hatred on Earth so we can explore and find peace and beauty on other worlds! To ignore science is to ignore life itself! What's the point of living if you don't explore?
I have not seen any images from any unmanned space-probe from any country that could not have been taken from the ground-based (not to mention the spaced-based ) big telescopes. if the space radiation and the meteors are fatal to the humans, they can not be very friendly towards the electronic circuits on these probes. One telescopic image in the middle of computer simulations wont cut it. Good music helps a little but they just have to stop throwing shit at their vistors
Truly incredible...We are fortunate to have poeple at JPL to pull off something once considered impossible. WE, as Earthlings are going places...THANKS JPL !!!
The melody of this amazing clip becomes from "Rocky" soundtrack by Bill County... Since the moment i heard it, i imagine in my mind the settings of the Starwars classic films.
Amazing video. Now that Cassini has been there for years, showing us amazing views, some of us (myself included) have gotten "used" to all the wonderful images. This video rekindles the feeling of true triumph and awe that this mission has been, continues to be, and will be in the future.
It just give me chicken skin to thing that we humans are capable of doing these things, and imagining what is happening in Saturn right now, as Cassini orbits the planet :'(
Is just SO AMAZING hos scientist are able to determine the planets orbits and use them for gravity assists, I just can stop watching the part where Cassini is slingshot by Venus, Earth and Jupiter :D
Sensational vid! Oh wait did you know they have plutonium on that satellite and when its completed its "mission" they plan to ignite the whole fucking gas planet into a star- its called the Lucifer project. Are you ready for a second sun?
You complete idiot. The plutonium is powering the spaceship by the heat it gives off. It is in the form of a radioisotope thermoelectric generator. It cannot become a bomb. You need critical mass combined with precise conditions. Even if it had a bomb on it, it would be impossible for it to ignite Saturn. Saturn does not have the mass or composition to start a fusion reaction. Do your research before you make these crazy accusations.
so darn crazy that we dont see this stuff on tv all the time... we'll become extinct if we don't start some serious space exploration/colonization very soon as Hawking said... it's just plain sure... be it asteroid...volcan...virus... chances are so darn high if you extend a little bit the timeline outside our silly average lifespan. 24000hits... should be 24million hits... but ehy..thats for boobs and rap clips...
Well I knew this sounds a lot like Bill Conti and parts from Rocky III. But he borrowed from Gustav Holst "The Planets" (especially Mars), check also Star Wars where an interpretation of this march is used by John Williams as well (since Holsts's "Mars" was the temp track at the time).
What is staggering to consider now is that very soon, these space vehicles and their probes will seem like 18th century sailing ships, compared to modern jet airliners. We will soon have hybrid ion/laser/sail spacecraft that can get to Mars in 3 weeks (instead of 10 months), and to Saturn in 4 months, instead of 7 years. It's happening now, as you're reading this.
Incredible work by the Cassini-Huygens team. I can't even begin to imagine doing the trajectory calculations to get the thing from Earth orbit all the way to Titan.

you mean they could be able to start the nuclear fusion on saturn due to its atmosphere of Hydrogen? and they can ignite it by a plutonium bomb?
well, the hydrogen up there is not dense enough and the tempetarture (even in the core of saturn) is not high enough.
