  • Crappy music!

  • *****

  • very very nice job ! Amazing ! I remember too ! I was in front my pc to see Huygens which tried to arrive on Titan !!!

    tanks !

  • Thx not for all that computer generated cwap. I come here to just see the evidence with my own two eyes and you give me artist renditions. Piss on you keepers of the flame. The vid right before this was much better than this all you highly paid hi brow look down on my tax dollar hi fivin megalomaniacal guarders of secrets for your eyes only ninnies. ...pffftNEXT>>>>

  • It's just amazing to think that humans can do this stuff, to send shuttles outside of earth.

  • very lucky probe ! it´s not easy to pass the asteroid belt !

  • dude.. WE are the aliens!!!! at least we come in peace

  • Wow, I just felt my ribs break from Rock's hook....Apollo mission out.

  • so. . . so much money are lost because of some missions that don't feed the hungry. big people in business are the ones making money and they make laws that without those money we cant buy the things we need. they are all Illuminati...and so if they landed those probes or what they call that, what would they do to it. we can't live there anyways. no offense:P

  • Very nicely edited! Frankly, a much better use of the music than the crummy movie it came from. LOL You should try doing one of these for "Far Horizions"... maybe use the soundtrack from "Journey to the Far Side of the Sun" by Barry Gray?

  • I LOVE ASTRONOMY! I hope the human race doesn't destroy itself... There are SO MANY WORLDS with questions we know little or nothing about, but we can find the answers if we truly understand that space exploration is what really matters! Why destroy life when we have the opportunity to find it on other worlds? Let's stop all the hatred on Earth so we can explore and find peace and beauty on other worlds! To ignore science is to ignore life itself! What's the point of living if you don't explore?

  • I have not seen any images from any unmanned space-probe from any country that could not have been taken from the ground-based (not to mention the spaced-based ) big telescopes. if the space radiation and the meteors are fatal to the humans, they can not be very friendly towards the electronic circuits on these probes. One telescopic image in the middle of computer simulations wont cut it. Good music helps a little but they just have to stop throwing shit at their vistors

  • where does Cassini land at the end? cause it;s not supposed to land anywhere

  • Alsolutely superb video! The choice of music is excellent to accompany these epic pictures! Two thumbs up, steminnis1!

  • super

  • Kudos for putting together this wonderful tribute to the amazing Cassini-Huygens mission to Saturn.

  • 5 people don't like space

  • Truly incredible...We are fortunate to have poeple at JPL to pull off something once considered impossible. WE, as Earthlings are going places...THANKS JPL !!!

  • a la hyugens le falto una webcam!!!

    fantastico

  • Respect gravity. It is your friend. Without it...you are just fucked.

  • @JikkiTikki Or: Respect Gravity: it's the law!

  • how do you get trough the belt.... too rocky.

  • bloody amazing

  • WTF! Rocky 3 was made in Space???

  • great choice of music! good vid!

  • The melody of this amazing clip becomes from "Rocky" soundtrack by Bill County... Since the moment i heard it, i imagine in my mind the settings of the Starwars classic films.

  • Our nations priorities are messed up considering how low a viewcount this gets.

  • Eh, it's the culture here.

No one's interested in furthering humanity. It's not "cool" anymore.

  • Amazing video. Now that Cassini has been there for years, showing us amazing views, some of us (myself included) have gotten "used" to all the wonderful images. This video rekindles the feeling of true triumph and awe that this mission has been, continues to be, and will be in the future.

  • It just give me chicken skin to thing that we humans are capable of doing these things, and imagining what is happening in Saturn right now, as Cassini orbits the planet :'(

  • Is just SO AMAZING hos scientist are able to determine the planets orbits and use them for gravity assists, I just can stop watching the part where Cassini is slingshot by Venus, Earth and Jupiter :D

  • I just love this vid ^^

  • It is so nice to escape the morons on the moon hoax threads. They scare me. Ignorance scares me.

  • nasa's very important mission.

Pier, grazie per averlo condiviso. *****

  • sempre molto affascinante

    grazie Giorgio.

  • the fuck you talkin about roberto?

  • Very nice 2 meet u. (you are a woman who does with other women?)

  • Five *'s. Music's just spot on too.

  • It wasn't nice what you said back there in the Ahad's sphere you know

  • perfect ! wonderful ! great job !

  • having seen these majestic sences, my cruriousity toward astronomy reignited. omg i just being helplessly held captivated by this vid.

  • its so amazing that it gets there by taggin onto other planets gravitational pull, the timing and math must be so complex. incredible

  • That's why we have supercomputers.

  • im on cam and bored

i cant watch this video Ad

  • Cool Vince music from Rocky.

Hey yo adrian i did it!

I launched myself off with liquid O2!

  • OMG> OH OMG OH OMG OH OMG OH OMG

  • Sensational vid! Oh wait did you know they have plutonium on that satellite and when its completed its "mission" they plan to ignite the whole fucking gas planet into a star- its called the Lucifer project. Are you ready for a second sun?

  • you mean they could be able to start the nuclear fusion on saturn due to its atmosphere of Hydrogen? and they can ignite it by a plutonium bomb?

well, the hydrogen up there is not dense enough and the tempetarture (even in the core of saturn) is not high enough.

  • You complete idiot. The plutonium is powering the spaceship by the heat it gives off. It is in the form of a radioisotope thermoelectric generator. It cannot become a bomb. You need critical mass combined with precise conditions. Even if it had a bomb on it, it would be impossible for it to ignite Saturn. Saturn does not have the mass or composition to start a fusion reaction. Do your research before you make these crazy accusations.

  • i wish i could travel faster than the speed of light!

  • Wonderful!

  • sensassional

  • so darn crazy that we dont see this stuff on tv all the time... we'll become extinct if we don't start some serious space exploration/colonization very soon as Hawking said... it's just plain sure... be it asteroid...volcan...virus... chances are so darn high if you extend a little bit the timeline outside our silly average lifespan. 24000hits... should be 24million hits... but ehy..thats for boobs and rap clips...

  • so true...

  • Great video, can't wait to see how far we will get as Humans.

  • like the video but no need for the music i can listen to my own music

  • Great editing job with music and graphics!!!

  • OMG!!! Humanity fucking rocks!

  • I heard that the rockets use to launch the probe were the most powerful ever used.

  • Quite unbelievable really.

  • the music is actually from Rocky II.

  • there are 2 versions, this is the extended version from Rocky III

  • Well I knew this sounds a lot like Bill Conti and parts from Rocky III. But he borrowed from Gustav Holst "The Planets" (especially Mars), check also Star Wars where an interpretation of this march is used by John Williams as well (since Holsts's "Mars" was the temp track at the time).

  • cool vid, loved the high five at the end. titan images could have been more realistic though

  • legal

  • Thanks for the video. Very nice.

  • This video is awesome, I love it

  • you should have played the rocket man song

  • if you would please shut up.

  • Fuck you... why the hell would you respond to a six month old comment

  • btw when the hell did i write that? or watch this vid

  • stfu, get a life shithead. everybody agrees that your idea of that retarded theme is well, retarded. fuck you assipe; now stfu!!

  • i dont care

  • almost die frm heart attack..the music drive me to the climax !

  • liste to the 10th mand down nightwish, that time you definitely gonna have a heart attack!

  • I wonder if they found aliens or any sort of life yet.

  • nice

  • if mr HUYGENS could see this video....

  • He would have a heart attack.

  • what a climax!

  • wow

  • this and going the the distance are the best from those movies.

  • What is staggering to consider now is that very soon, these space vehicles and their probes will seem like 18th century sailing ships, compared to modern jet airliners. We will soon have hybrid ion/laser/sail spacecraft that can get to Mars in 3 weeks (instead of 10 months), and to Saturn in 4 months, instead of 7 years. It's happening now, as you're reading this.

  • oh really, prove it!

  • @ eliezeriero,

Google search "VASIMR ion enginge". For that fact, there's videos here on YouTube.

  • Incredible work by the Cassini-Huygens team. I can't even begin to imagine doing the trajectory calculations to get the thing from Earth orbit all the way to Titan.

  • nice rocky balboa

  • I found this vid after doing a Bill Conti search, glad I found it, one cool video!

Amazing how well the music works with images so different from the ones they were composed for.

  • mission accomplished!
