  • Thanks For Posting! Great Job! Thumbs Up!

  • I go to the grocery store. produce is always right next to the door so it is fast too.

  • I keep lunch items in my office. So, for example, I have right now a can of soup, a jar of peanut butter, a bag of nuts, and bottled water in my cabinet. These are all nonperishable and can be kept for those days when you forget to bring your lunch. The items I have are not raw, but you could certainly come up with other items that fit your needs.

  • @travelbuddy101 I would stay away from the peanut butter if you are eating regular peanut butter. They take out all the natural oils and replace it with soy oil or some vedgetable oil. These are dangerous to your health and cause free radicals.

  • For a healthy breakfast on the run I will stop in real quick at a grocery store on the way to work and buy a bunch of bananas and any cut up fruit they have. Bananas fill me up pretty good. For lunch it would have to be salads. Wendy's has a good, cheap deal called Pair 2 and you can get a half a salad and a small chili - that's fairly healthy.

  • So true, when I started walking/hurrying a bit more to get some healthy lunches from the grocery close to work, I ended feeling way better and having more energy to get through my day than when I ate at the fast food places :D Then they opened up a salad shop in the mall where the store was... omg soooo good.

  • Nice ... :)

  • Raw food gourmet is bullshit man. Eating raw food should be the most FAST food. The most healthy thing is a monomeal. You are doing the right thing by hitting the produce sections. A bag of apples, or grapes is a good choice for this time of year. I been buying cases of grapes. I don't need to spend any time prepping before work. I just grab 3 bags of grapes and that keeps the detox going while keeping me satiated throughout my shift.

  • The big hit in my life, and in my body right is Adame Beans salad wohaaaa!!

I always skipped the salad before, but this salad is the bomb, tasty, crunchy and nutricious. I love it. And every time you eat it, i immediately feal the fysical affekts of it. My body actually gets happy and i get happy too. Eating a whopper makes my body cry, and gives me pain. So why be a mashocist... Im changing my life right now, and its lovely..

  • Grab some fruit and a handful of nuts. The grocery store or farmer's market is the way to go. When I was traveling out of town once everyone went into Starbucks and I ducked into a smoothie shop. I told them to hold the sugar and only give me the fruit and some spinach in my smoothie. Worked great.Hang in there!

  • pathmark sucks. whole food store is soo much better

  • @TheCAPTAINNEMOful Thanks

  • very nice I give you my 5***** and I invite you to my soccer´s channel clicking on my NICK :

  • @edurubio2000 - Thanks I will check it out for sure!!

  • cute xD

  • My favorite fast food is >>>> Raw almonds or raw hazelnuts (always have some sprouted once in my fridge).., cucumber slices, jerry tomatoes and golden berries..I just throw them into zip clock bags and it only takes second to cut the cucumbers... i refuse to go to any fast food restaurant, I rather eat dirt of the street...lol

  • @NuclearNympho - Good stuff!! You had me on just the almonds but then you through in the berries.. M Some of my favorites.. NICE!!

  • "Awe! Good job. Lisa Whit

  • @elisaw831 Thanks

  • To have a healthy lunch I would go to Farm Fresh they have a great salad bar!!!!!

  • @Brownaturalady Salad bars are the way to go for sure.. :)

  • Pack a LUNCH night before. No excuses then!

  • Man i dont know what some of these people r talkin about...did he say 'peanuts, fruit, bananas & a bacon cheeseburger?"..LMAO!!! Man there r no options at fast food restaurants, unless they sell some kind of fruit cup...or those little bags of apples(ughh). Now some places have these so called 'real fruit' smoothies but i dont trust them either. U would be better off checkin the local gas station/convenience store 4 some raw nuts or trail mix. Or just get a bottle of water & wait till dinner :]

  • Excellent work! Thumbs up!

  • Planters salted peanuts, they are filling that with some fruit, bananas and a bacon cheeseburger are amazing

  • Great video and some sound advice..diet is essential to good health. 5*****

  • Find a deli and order a Boar's Head turkey

on whole wheat with tomato and mustard.

If they have those small bottles of Perrier,

    get one or two.

  • @TangleWoodTail1 Yep celery is good even better when you juice it with apples and carrots!! Works for me.. :)

  • @soulvibe87 I am learning that more everyday to just enjoy your food and take my time with it. Thanks

  • @TheWonderwise Now that is a very cool and inventive way to save some time and money.. I also like the fact that you can still hang with your buddies without eating bad.. NICE!!

  • Voce deveria legendar seus videos para o idioma Português, sou brasileira, gostaria muito de entender tudo o que voce fala!!!

  • usually there's a convenient store that has decent fresh fruit... apples, bananas and such. ALWAYS orange juice. If OJ wasn't so packed with calories I'd drink that till the citric acid gave me heart burn. LOVE it.

  • @TinkMcGathy Now that "citric acid" punchline made me LOL.. You rock!! :o)

  • We also have hickory street cafe or boogies and these places offer sandwiches quiches, soup, salads...hickory street cafe has a zucchini bread that is out of this world!

  • @missmeagan07 cool.. My lady has an onion bread recipe that one day I am going to have to make and share the recipe. I am also a fan of zucchini bread but trying to keep it raw and simple. Not easy I promise but I know it will be worth it in the long run for me.. :)

  • well i always make sure to pack a lunch, but if by chance there is ever a situation like it happened last week as we were moving... I went to wendy's and bought a salad just a side salad as i have had a gastric done, or you can grab a chili.or mcdonalds i get a side salad with apple dippers no caramel sauce though we have a zookini's salad bar,

  • @missmeagan07 Yes indeed I am finding more and more use for the trusty salad bar every day. I have one in my local grocery market that is awesome I just try to stay away from the dressings which is hard sometimes.

  • Hey - I'm doing a 30-day raw food detox, so that's what it's all about for me right now! If I were in the situation, I would also go to a grocery store and get some fresh fruits and veggies OR if you can find a restaurant that has a fresh salad bar or a buffet that offers a fresh salad bar, go there and prepare a large salad. Keep up the great work! :)

  • @under200poundsby40 Thanks and that is awesome you are hitting the 30 day detox.. God bless you and grant you HEALTH!!!!!! :)

  • @MRMELTDOWNDOTCOM You're welcome AND THANK YOU! :)

  • celery juice, organic for before dinner.

bananas for breakfast. cheap and easy. just have them on hand always

  • This is a great idea to document your progress through this channel. I am sure you will provide motivation for others as well. Keep spreading the word.

  • @slambo239 Thank you and don't forget I am motivated because of people like you!! :)

  • I always portion out after shopping. Yeah, it takes a bit longer to put things away, but my lunch for the week is prepared. I save money, time and energy through out the week as a result, so the juice is worth the squeeze.

  • @txjcarroll That is what I'm talk about!! I also forgot to mention that you do save money packing your own food.. Thanks for bringing that up!!

  • @MRMELTDOWNDOTCOM One could upgrade their food with the money they save. Best advice, eat like you're poor; take your meals everywhere, that way you know exactly what you're eating at all times.

    peace.

  • I keep Fruit in the house at all times, just throw a couple bananas a few oranges and a couple apples in a bag and go.

  • Hi Derek This would be a great video to share on the youtube weight-loss community page on facebook. (link on my youtube channel)

  • @tommybrisbane2011 Thanks for the support!!

  • Hi my friend, I try not eat out when there is no healthy alternative but if I have to I go to Trader Joe's if there is one around and get their South of the Border Salad with black beans and corn that has less than 200 calories or sushi with brown rice and veggies. If I don't have these options, I just get a plain Greek yogurt at the store and some berries to put on top. Or roasted chicken and some salad greens or a package of raw almonds and raisins.

  • @BytomGirl Hey now you sound like you know how to eat healthy for sure!! Now I am feeling like juicing some carrots after reading your list!! Thanks for making me hungry.. LOL :)

  • @MRMELTDOWNDOTCOM You are welcome my friend. I eat only whole foods and juice daily. I put im my juice many veggies and some fruits, carrots, beets, parsley, kale, chard, apple, fennel, lemon, ginger, bell pepper and spinach, Make about a litter daily and drink it through the day. Just discovered a wonderful fish, Arctic Char which is similar to slamon but has even more Omega3. After being ill last year I feel really good and lost 20 pounds without trying. Good luck :-) Thank you.

  • @MRMELTDOWNDOTCOM Oh, most important is not eat anything processed, especially sugar so I have none at home, no sugar, white flour, white rice, nothing prepared in the box from the freezer, no trans fats

or a lot of saturated fats but good fats I don;t limit, avocadoes, nits, olive oil, fatty fish, etc. And exercise makes all the difference...

  • The MINIMUM you can do if you're in that situation is eat ONLY the recommended portions. I did that once, when I used to live out of a vending machine. Believe it or not, I LOST 25lbs. Just following the instructions. Which means only eat x-amount every 8hrs. If you do that you'll be fine. Fast food & restaurants. Avoid like the plague. Seriously. Find the nearest fruit/ veggie shop.

Keep Grapefruits & apples for any post 6pm eating as these are Negative Calorie foods that burn up FAST.

  • great tips!

  • Everyone has salads plain ones w/ nothing but veggies- most places hav fresh lemons as well so there is your dressing and your veggies. most of the salads can be small so if needed ( double up). Convenience stores are pumping up the organic fruit as well soo you can get those in a bind. It might not always be organic! I will in a minute eat a salad and drink a tea and be alright. Justin "nut butters" at WF come in single serve pkts those are good think fruit plus nut butter or celery etc.

  • @StopDropnRollon YOU ARE AWESOME for that idea on asking for lemons to supplement for salad dressing!! You see that is so simple but why on earth did I not think of that? Thanks for sharing that one my friend!!

  • noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!11 i am theaer frrrueisat onne to o o conmmmanet
