i saw this kind of thing at ENSN i was like" what the fuck?" it made a bizarre noise, then liftet of again nad touched down at the parking spot. no one seemed to care. later i saw a bouncy cessna 170 landing xD he didnt care, just went of to fight for the winds 3 more traffic patterns and didnt come back ;-)
The point of a running landing is for a pilot to know how to land in case of a clutch malfunction or the inability to use higher power setting (for hover).
The skids have replaceable skid pads that get worn out over time. The running landing is a required maneuver by the FAA even for a Private Pilot. It is the final part of a full down autorotation.
Hi: Did you make the video for 180 autorotation? If so...what type of camera did you use?. I am trying to record part of my manuvers.. I want o incorporate some audio from the intercom.
the skids has little replaceable pads under them for this kind of thing, but you really ought to stop a little faster than this, although this was not bad.
I always want to yank the cyclic back and chop the tail off.

Dear All,
I have some question on psychology:
Why do we love flying? What is so attractive to be a pilot? Why do we think that pilot is a highly professional job?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm.
