I'm addicted, not sure if i'll grow out of it. BUT, i don't buy nx anymore, i've NEVER stole money to buy nx. I have, snuck nx in the past, but now that i'm rich, i buy nx using mesos or buy and item and put it in maple trade system.

Obsession is addiction. You just can't say MapleStory is not addicting just because people don't play all the time "All Day Every Day". From the standpoint of many people it CAN be an addicting but it is up to the user's responsibility to control the addiction/obsession. Let me tell you something. If someone plays any mmorpg and enjoys is, they are going to get hooked and be addicted. I played runescape for about 4 years and was extremely addicted. I decided to tak a step back and observe the addictions. It's nexon's psychology that makes some people more addictive than others. It may not be addictive for you, it is very addictive to others. Those who really know resonsiblities will just avoid the game, or not take the game seriously. However, to be well known in this game, you HAVE TO be active, and high level (or else you are pretty much a noob). This popularity is pretty much what sucked me into the game most of the time. This is when cash items comes into play as well (increase popularity)

Any game can be addicting...if you let it. What it boils down to is that it's no ones fault except your own if you become addicted or if you spend tons of money on nx cash. So for FOX News, how about pointing the finger of blame at the right people.

Let me tell you something. If someone plays any mmorpg and enjoys is, they are going to get hooked and be addicted. I played runescape for about 4 years and was extremely addicted. I decided to tak a step back and observe the addictions. You can't say that games like these aren't addictive, I know first hand that they are, when I would go 2 days without runescape, I would be thinking about it nonstop, these games are addictive hell.

MapleStory is truly addicting, so Fox was right once. Addicting means you're hooked to something regardless of the situation and severity. The kids who stole money from their parents was just their misjudgement. Fox made it sound like Nexon forced them to steal money from their loved ones so that they could make more money. Sheesh. Fox has some of the best TV shows, but one of the worst TV news crews.

I think they shouldn't need to steal money if maplestory weren't so expensive to get cash.
Affter playing a lot, cash is necesary to make it fun, and of course you can't leave it cuz you waster a lot of time on it.
Nexon have responsability for making a game so expensive, how can you buy an avatar that cost like 5$ for less than 3months you waste you real money for virtual stuff that will be gone.
Maple Story is a good game, I have my DK at lv 98 but Nexon care only about cash so I leave it.

you seem to be missing the point of why they put this on Fox. Games like maplestory, wow, runescape etc. require you to play massive amounts of time to be even moderately respected, and have a decent time. Kids that play this game for hours on end, daily are wasting their precious childhood. when they are adults, they can look back on what they did on their teenage years, and have memories of leveling up in a stupid game that will get you nowhere in life. your ignorance is remarkable

I agree with this girl, i also play maplestory. I am an endless time person of playing for atleast 6 hours of time YES I know crazy, but you have friends, some people who are outcasts at school need to have friends in a virtual world. It's nexon's psychology that makes some people more addictive than others. It may not be addictive for you, it is very addictive to others. Those who really know resonsiblities will just avoid the game, or not take the game seriously. However, to be well known in this game, you HAVE TO be active, and high level (or else you are pretty much a noob). This popularity is pretty much what sucked me into the game most of the time. This is when cash items comes into play as well (increase popularity)
