If the day ever comes when I fail to cry at a Björk performance (unlikely), I know my heart has died quietly and my soul has lost the will to live! She gives everything and I am so grateful for it. Here, she seems to be addressing the audience with the lyric of this song. I love how she waves her arm when about to launch into some more amazing do-or-die vocal ecstasy. Ok, I'd better stop now... @BertramPinkass I admit, Songs like this and "All is full of love" really do bring me close to tears.

I think she is much better live,which is what i can't say for many popular artists today, since many rely on autotuners or synths (not bashing the pop industry, its just a preference) . I find it amazing how she can sing so powerfully,I mean, it's difficult to explain, but you can feel the weight,the power behind her words...The humble "Thank you" at the end is such a juxtaposition!

I weep listening to Hope, Pneumonia, Generous Palmstroke, Pleasure Is All Mine... I could go on. It is her human spirit that I love so much and infuses her voice with such power and tenderness.
