Everything must be replaced in their context: there was a communist bloc facing what we call the Free World. The Vietnam war was the result of the clash between those two entities. The results of the Vietnam war: USA were exhausted and traumatized, Soviet Union and Varsovie Pact countries were on the verge of bankruptcy. The population in these countries were miserable because of the costs of this war and were ready for a revolution, revolutions in the 90s that brought down the communist empire.
it was really sad...and made me think that this war that's going on now isn't going to solve anything...why can't the president realize that war,not only solves nothing,but it also brings pains to those who have had a loved one go to war and he/she has died...(also goes for those who serve in the war)...the way i see things is that,God made this world for all to live in and get along,but humans have messed up the world so badly...i'm sorry...i'll shut up now...
