The way you're bending the strings doesn't sound right, it's just one straight bend. You don't have to keep shaking your hand like that, I hate it when guitarists do that on every fucking bend, looks try-hard.

@MakeItGoSplodey Peavey 5150 (or 6505 - same thing) and Bjorn uses two EMG 85's whilst Jesper uses an 85 and an 81 on Gibson guitars. Add quite a bit of distortion and bass whilst lowering off the mids and a bit of reverb.

Drop tuning ??? WHAT THE FUCK !!! IT'S JUST TUNING !!!! The guitar is played from the musician not the tuning. Who ever threw this ball of crap should really realize that tunning is what makes the guitar sound in higher or lower notes.... IT'S THE WAY YOU PLAY ON THE DAMN THING !!! NOT THE WAY YOU TUNE IT !!!!! Sometimes the tunning is concerned with the vocalist and the whole sound of a song. SO SCREW THE IDIOTS WHO SAY THAT DROP TUNING IS BAD !

@aGuyFromPleven Do you know how bad these songs would sound in stranded tuning? Drop Tuning gives it more crunch and gives flexibility. Play 1:11 in stranded tuning, the pitch will be so high your ears will bleed.

Drop tuning isn't harder/easier to play with, its just a tuning...

You should use the tuning that fit best to the song you're gonna play. Only a retard would tune his guitar so it becomes harder to play the song...

This band has the one of the most amazing melodic guitar duals ive seen.

Jesper and Bjorn have the right to be called guitar gods because of songs like this, Bullet Ride, and others.

Used to be Peavey 5150 II's (now called 6505+) but Bjorn recently switched to Marshall and started with the JVM heads, but I think now he uses the Kerry King Sig. JCM 800's live...

If you read the comments every where on the internet, most specifically the band page you would have read Jesper saying "He's far from done with music or metal" Also, @Janwender, guitarists everywhere do that, it's a basic technique, if you don't like it then don't incorporate it into your style, but it's Bjorns. When you're writing your solos, do whatever you want with them, I'm pretty sure you'd be pissed if you had someone telling you how to play your own solos
