This 22 episode series was called Understanding the Earth made in 1976 by TV Ontario (PBS of Canadian television). The series was part of a extension course at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario. I believe from 1976 to 1986.
First part was the Planet of Man series hosted by Tuzo Wilson.
The series host was Dr. David Pearson, English trained, Canadian geologist and lecturer residing in Sudbury, Ontario.
this is fascinating footage. I don't know who the presentor is, but to see Tuzo Wilson in this video is just fabulous. Wouldn't you want to make this footage available to the greater Canadian geoscience community, especially in this International Year of Planet Earth? Please refer to the website of the Canadian Federation of Earth Sciences for further information
awesome lesson
But Seriously . Get a hair cut.
