I was really surprised by this movie cause The Punisher KICKED SO MUCH ASS in it, the 2004 movie sucked IMO cause the punisher was weak,not so violent and stopable, in this one: HOLY SHIT!!! I mean when that little guy fights the punisher and he starts to get mad and throw that guy in the walls and stuff...just awesome!

ah, The Punisher (2004) was violent as hell. Tossed boiling water in The Russain's face, slammed the paper cutter in the guy's skull, shot a arrow through a guy's throut, One guy got his piercings ripped out, Girl was tossed in front of a train. Maybe we watched 2 diffrent movies...........in my opinion 2004 was better cause Thomas Jane is alot better actor. The only thing i liked about Warzone was Jigsaw, loved his accent. If you want blood and gore, play a video game.

I liked War Zone, & what's funny is, when I was younger, I used to think that Jason Alexander {George Costanza} would've made a great Microchip, but "Newman" did a good job, too.

I want to see it again.
And I really hope it founds a second life in DVD, the 2004 movie found it's second life there so I hope that the dvd's sales are solid so we can get a sequel.

Try looking at the freekin toybiz action figure it came out b4 the 2004 punisher movie. This guy really does look like Frank from the comics. They made a toybiz figure thomas jane style but he was really skinny and whimpy looking.
You're right, Thomas Jane destroyed the Punisher and if anyone even bothered to read the comic they would know that F*** Thomas Jane. Ray Stevens was the Punisher and Dominic West as Jigsaw, he was the best, if nothing else go to the movie to atleast see just how talented of an actor Dominic really is. Dominic to Jigsaw is like Heath Ledger to Joker. Oscar worthy.

Trust me. 30 minutes in the movie, and Ray Stevenson makes Thomas Jane look like a pussy. Ray also looks like the punisher. Great character development, a thin story, but action scenes that is like a mix between Kill Bill and Rambo. Loved the movie, best movie this season. (Also, if i hear Dark Knight is better than this movie one more time, I will get Loony Bin Jim to eat that person's kidneys.)

I'm glad you liked this film man. Sadly for me, the action's all I cared about. Frank Castle is not supposed to have feelings. That was Frank before he became the Punisher. That Frank is dead. Frank, as the Punisher, is a demented sociopath at odds with the law. In his world, he's not perceived as a war hero. If he ever killed an innocent, such as that fed, no good deed could erase that deed in the mind of his loved ones. That's where the film went wrong.
