The part with the spike tower on wheels is probably the hardest part in this game for me. 3000+ Deaths.

I'm sure someone already said this, but the walljumping in this game works exactly like it does in Rockman X and the ice stage of Ninja Gaiden III. I THINK the ice stage of Ninja Gaiden III, anyway... I seem to recall slipping off the walls in that stage.

Which do you think is worse, this or trying to get the X-Buster upgrade in X2 without getting the dash upgrade first or using Strike Chain?

It took longer to get the Dash Upgrade - but I didn't DIE every time I missed the jump...so it's a tough call. @_x Both are pretty ugly. Seriously.

Time, or dying every time... Tough choice right there... Don't forget that it took around 130 or so tries on that Megaman jump. (Forgot how many times you jumped, but I did count it...)

Gee... Ninja jumping definitely felt awkward to me... This game would drive me nuts. I'd only play this game once. ONCE. EVER! It's the only ten hour game I know of that can be speedrunned (most likely) in a halfhour... You spend hours just trying to get to the savepoint.

It may have been awkward to at least some extent, but at LEAST Hal Labs had the courtesy to make it a sideability that was there for kicks, not REQUIRED. And I still stand by it not being as bad as this walljumping. I just don't like it...

Anyway, yeah. This is some game, huh? x_x It's like, BUILT around the concept of "newbie unfriendly". Probably takes the effing GOLD MEDAL for that...

When I was a newbie myself at Kirby: Suepr Star, I dismissed Judo/Suplex as "meh". Then in the days of emulation, I challenged myself to complete the Arena with that ability (avoiding Pin Point Kick where possible)... Ever since then, I have adored Suplex like my own child. It's awesoooome. Especially with its insane damage potential on bosses that I never bothered to discover before.

I've done some controller-slamming myself in video game rage. @_@ Don't recall actually breaking anything, but yeah, you're not alone there. I probably would have yb now, though, if I was playing this game with a controller...oy!
