Before I could even put my foot on the gas, a 1/2 ton Chevy pickup blew through the intersection going about 60. Had I gone when I should have I would have been T-boned, my car would have been totaled, and Lord knows what would have happened to me. Guess I have some people up there watching out for me and my ride!
well Im so glad your ok! you are truly blessed to be alive and hopefully well! I can fully relate to the fact that when your in a traumatic crash of some kind as painful and horrible as it may be it will change your life for the better. you will look back and go "wow I am truly blessed with this second chance at life" and as sad as it is to see such a car in that condition its more important that your ok because any car is replaceable but your life is not replaceable. I went backwards from that one to a pro touring style 2nd gen 1977 Z28 and now I have two 1st gen 1967 RS Camaros, a coupe and convertible. Seems like i've always owned at least one. I love ragging my mustang buddies..
I lost my 1988 camaro because my ex wife...(I let her use it while her truck was in the shop for brake repair)........she lost control and folded the whole car under a tractor truck trailer........she and my two kid were beat up but alive......the long front end was the only thing that saved them...because it soaked up most of the energy of the crash....im glad you are ok....
june 23 03 i got hit head on by an 86 yr old lady that was a vollenteer police officer told the cops she saw me and thought she could make out in front of me she was in a 93 tempo i was in a 90 rs that just got done 2 weeks be for it i was goin 55 and so was she it almost broke her car in half all she got was a broken rib and both of her freinds got ejected and hit my car on the way out thank i was wearing my belt the strut towers where touchint the fire wall and the dash broke in half

i had a 94 camaro with a 350 4 barrel and a turbo tranny and i wrapped it around a tree and my passenger who was my bestfriend had to be life flighted and i was in prison for 4 years because of that wreck....it was pooring rain that day and a punk in a mustang egged me on and my friend said waist him and i did but little did i know my tire would blow out at 150 mph...think twice if your going to race the pain that your parents will be in if your killed is not worth it...

@missmyirocz hell yeah dont know if your gunna stick with the stock motor in it but if you go with anything more than 350 horse make sure you strenghthen that chassis one thing about these 3rd gen. camaros is the chassis's are very easy to twist once you do that might as well crush it and im gunna be pushing over 400 horse all motor and im putting in sub frame connectors a wonder bar a new sway bar and a 6 point roll cage everythings paid for but the roll cage got about 8g's goin into it

My parents let me drive their simple plain Toyota Camry for nothing in return, and I used to treat it like shit. Go fast with it, make crazy turns, break hard, u name it. When I got my Camaro SS with my hard=earned money I barely use the power that comes with it due to the amount of respect I give the car simply because I payed for it myself. @originalpalmer well i passed my buddy right before a turn like a dumbass. didnt know the road just passed him. made it all the way around the turn and hit some gravel,that put me into the ditch with put me into the air then into the tree. if it wasnt for the gravel i would still have this beautifull car. or for my dumb decions.. but i had the damn turn like nothing. the suspension on irocs are amazing the speed limit around that turn was 35 i was going like 75 give or take.
Dude, I know whats its like to have lost such a beautiful american car. I just bought my first car, a 89 Camaro RS. I didn't want a firebird, mustang, or a 69 Corvette Stingray someone offered to me for $3,000. I wanted a camaro, thats it. And I freakin' went driving on a rainy day and slid sideways over a curb and into a pole, luckily for me I just got a dinner plate-size dent and missed up the oil pan, starter, and right wheel alignment. @originalpalmer well i passed my buddy right before a turn like a dumbass. didnt know the road just passed him. made it all the way around the turn and hit some gravel,that put me into the ditch with put me into the air then into the tree. if it wasnt for the gravel i would still have this beautifull car. or for my dumb decions.. but i had the damn turn like nothing. the suspension on irocs are amazing the speed limit around that turn was 35 i was going like 75 give or take.

Dude, I know whats its like to have lost such a beautiful american car. I just bought my first car, a 89 Camaro RS. I didn't want a firebird, mustang, or a 69 Corvette Stingray someone offered to me for $3,000. I wanted a camaro, thats it. And I freakin' went driving on a rainy day and slid sideways over a curb and into a pole, luckily for me I just got a dinner plate-size dent and missed up the oil pan, starter, and right wheel alignment. Your IROC-Z was amazing, and I hope you guys drive safe

My iroc is down for the moment not for the same reason i hit a pothole big hole at about 120 basically shattered my front right rim ran off the road into the median and almost flipped. Im keeping the rim as a reminder. Im glad to see you lived through that. I know you will get another one

i have had 8 of these cars nothing like this has happened but alot of close calls that god your alive cars are a dime a dozen you will find another one just dont make the same mistake i had a couple dumbass moves that could have cost my life so i keep me fot out of them most of the time and my 1989 iroc has 415 rwhp its temping but it has put me in the opposite lane of the highway so trust me it scares me the older i get

Damn man, I know how you feel. I bought a 2002 Mustang Gt, and i ended up getting into a wreck 3 weeks later. I miss my car so much. It was my baby, and now i have to see it in pieces everytime im in the garage. Sorry to hear about your loss.
