We've beat the "Hornets" twice and I've seen them cheat (wiping). But most of them have great sportsmanship. I've notice that most of the young players cheat a lot and the older players are honest. What is winning if you've cheated to win, overall just have a great time out there.

I went to the jungle and played against the hornets IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME!! they way they used smoke bombs! it was fun i hate when ppl call them cheaters, dude you got hit take it like a champ and walk out. They helped me on my shooting cuz i couldnt fire as far as them they showed me, honestly i drive from San Jose just to play. REALLY good experience

@bfosterify you tell the people in the shack and they will give you the paperwork to fill out. It takes about 3 months. In that time they watch you to see how you play. Then you get a letter in the mail saying that you are now a Hornet and to bring the letter back to the shack to show them.

@joe209ca ok did you see them wipe with you own eyes or are you just going buy what you heard? Look I know they shoot fast but trust me all those markers are set for semi auto. The markers we use cost a lot and can be fired that fast by what's called walking the trigger. It may not be fair to someone that has a tippmann but they are going buy the rules. Next time ask one of them to show you.

i dont know if someone already told u dis, but u can go to paintball jungle and play in a capture the flag game with others against the hornets, and if you(not others or your team, just by yourself) successfully take their flag, they will ask for your email and maybe invite you. I'm proud to be a Hornet. Their sole advantage on the field comes from playing as a team - not wiping or hot guns.
I've been defeated many times when playing for the Hornets. The cause: a more organized opponent. Fight as a hive and you're unstoppable. Anyone can do it - the Hornets just do it more often.
I admit - I've actually seen it happen (thankfully a rare occurance). But then I've seen wiping among the general public as well (and sadly, far more often.) There will always be moments of poor sportsmanship anywhere - but don't let your frusteration at fighting a more organized adversary convince you that there's rampant cheating going on. The Hornets just work together to win, somthing a group of strangers will seldom do.

i dont know if someone already told u dis, but u can go to paintball jungle and play in a capture the flag game with others against the hornets, and if you(not others or your team, just by yourself) successfully take their flag, they will ask for your email and maybe invite you. This could take up to 3 months

HORNETS! i havent played in about 4 or 5 years. (once a hornet always a hornet) does anyone know when they changed the field up. Fort Marillo and Fort Hornets Nest arent there anymore whats up with that? goin for fathers day whos gon be there june 20

We get the good players out as well as noobs. And as far as us walking the trigger as fast as we do, well some would call that skill. I'm sorry that you played with some of the Hornets that wiped but don't judge us all. There are ALOT of us out there that play a fair game. I'm one of them.

I'm proud to be a Hornet. Their sole advantage on the field comes from playing as a team - not wiping or hot guns.
I've been defeated many times when playing for the Hornets. The cause: a more organized opponent. Fight as a hive and you're unstoppable. Anyone can do it - the Hornets just do it more often.

I admit - I've actually seen it happen (thankfully a rare occurance). But then I've seen wiping among the general public as well (and sadly, far more often.) There will always be moments of poor sportsmanship anywhere - but don't let your frusteration at fighting a more organized adversary convince you that there's rampant cheating going on. The Hornets just work together to win, somthing a group of strangers will seldom do.

The Hornets are a recreational team - there are a small handful of Hornets who also play pro, but the team itself is not a pro team.
