  • This song, was a "classic", yet, you never heard it played that much?...what a shame. Hall & Oates at their best.

  • I forgot Oates had the lead on this one. About time hall didn't hog the spotlight

  • hey john oates actually sound good.

  • it's good to see JOHN OATES actually use his singing ability, instead of just playing the guitar and standing around in the back. He didn't have the vocal range or quality of DARYL HALL, of course, but he does have some talent.

Their record label wanted Hall out front with lead vocals on EVERY song, which seemed a bit unfair to me.

  • if i have a time machine i would definitly go back in the 80's!

  • everyone always says my original music is too "eighties"!

    Is that possible?

    Be the judge for yourself..please!

  • Oates sounds so good in this song. He should've sang more (though I love Hall's voice too, don't EVEN get me wrong)

  • wlarmer dont we all

  • I want the Eighties back!!!!

  • me too!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this videa is straight gangster... and Hall's taxi jacket is BALLIN!

  • this is the first time i really heard the small one really sing. he sounds really good.

  • Those are some kickass suits Daryl and the gang are wearing.

  • They are so cool!

  • WOW! It's been almost a quarter century since I've heard this song! Great R&B/Pop sound. Definitely makes me wish Oates did more leading - he brings something different to the music.

  • Can someone please bring back the 80's?

  • @GEVMM

If you'll find a way, don't leave me here PLLLLEEEEEEAAAAASSSSEEEEE !!!

  • ...this 1984 release was their last great hit album, never again will rise above the charts again :(

  • My bike just got stolen!

  • bellissima, grazie john and daryl....

  • G.E. Smith looks pretty cool in that green suit. This song should've been bigger than "Maneater".

  • why didnt oats do more lead singing

  • That last shot of the World Trade centers, wow, we definately are in differant times....

  • This song is one that John Oates wrote and sings lead.

  • Why can't more videos be like this? It's so inventive, cool, relaxed and yet rocks to!

  • i saw them on the today show about two months ago on the concert series of the today show. they covered one of barry whites songs you're are my last my everthing for their album on vh1 classic television special about three or four years ago i do not know exactly what date that i saw them on.

  • WHat happened to music after the 80's?? Grunge,,Rap,R@B,Boy Bands,,country. That's what happened!! They all suck imo!!!!!

  • good rhythem nice ice to dance to.

  • This track should have been a bigger hit, for my money its up with " you're imagination ". Hall and Oates are one of the reasons me and my first wife split up, not my fault she has no taste. These guys helped me through that dire time the 1980's when music nosed dived and has yet to recover.

  • How did she just vanish inside that cab?

  • Its a shame HER segment was only 41 seconds.I wouldn't mind driving her about let alone date her.

  • ahhhh... the memories ..!

  • great!

  • Thanks Jackson...you kick!

  • essa música fala sobre mim...

  • H&O are simply one of the best groups of all times. They are timeless. 80s music was the best....sorry Mom.

  • John has a great voice. Even though Daryl's is better, they should have done more songs in their great years with John on vocals. I think they could have been hits!

  • Did anyone notice the way Oats popped his collar when he got out of the cab? That was pimpin'!!!

  • what a great duo im a great fan.

  • True stars.l Their music has bought me joy:)

  • Very good singing from Oates! my third favourite song from B.B.B.

  • This should've been a bigger hit. Great song!

  • This is a great song from Hall and Oates. They have a live version from their "Live at the Apollo Theatre" CD that is excellent.

  • buena cancion

  • Hall & Oates has released their first Christmas album ever. A part of the proceeds from the sale of their Xmas album will be donated to a U.S. Marine led charity, Toys For Tots.
