  • Lui I'm very confused with the carb amount in every meal not counting the fruits? I thought that 1 bagel had 42 grams of carbs wich I substitute with 3 slices of wholegrain toast about 40 grams of carbs. Should I also aim to get about 40 grams of carbs when I eat brown rice?

  • hey dude I'm an ectomorph 135lbs and been doing upper body and core workouts also been taking serious mass shakes by BSN along with my 4 -5 meals a day, I've bulked up a little bit but I've also noticed I have an ugly belly now, i'm not gonna lie I do eat greasy chiken and beef at least 4 times a weeks (because it's what's close to my job) and do no cardio.. what's your advice???

  • @CJMFitness Fruit is only acceptable to eat right in the morning at breakfast or immediately after a workout in a post workout shake. Keep the portion size to one unit of whatever it is you choose, and do NOT have fruit at any other time of the day. Keep your fructose energy sources down, because if your liver glycogen levels are already high (and they will be if you are bulking) you will tap over into fat stores upon consuming anything with high GI and fat intake at the same time.

  • I love your videos Luimarco, but I had a question: if i drank a 12 ounce pepsi max (0 calorie) per day will it hurt me a lot on my bobybuilding. Keep in mind i drink 1 gallon of water per day to flush it out. will it hurt me a lot for my performance and results? please let me know. thanks bro.

  • Great video as usual, I've noticed you drink diet soft drinks on more than one occasion, I've read and heard from different sources (people, tv, forums..etc) about how the "sweeteners" in those drinks are actually worse for your health than even regular soft drinks (they make you crave for sugars more, researchers have found it to be bad for your health..etc).

    Since you really know your stuff, I wanted to know what do you think of it in general and how often do you drink diet soft drinks?

  • Whole wheat pita is great, much more convenient than having to make rice everyday. The kind I buy has 200 calories and 38 grams of carbs per piece.

    Charles Poliquin,and Doctor Mercola talk about different diets,suit some better than others. 1)High carbs,low fat and protein2)mixture of both 3) high protein/fat,low carbs.

However, my mom doesn't like what I'm doing because she thinks being a MUSCULAR but short guy doesn't look good. She gave me a headache talking and talking about how it doesn't look good. But I just like the feeling of working out and lifting heavy and drinking the protein and creatine. I just feel healthy! I'm so GLAD I found your channel!

  • If you are really hungry at night, make the chicken breast and have a whole plate of iceberg lettuce and put some Guacamole on it (good fats) it makes the lettuce and chicken taste really good :) just another idea for you hungry ppl :P

  • 2 years ago I read an article about coca cola, it said that coca cola deplets the body from calcium and protein, and the amount of sugar that hits the stomach causes insulin to spike, I've never drunk coca cola ever since.
