In Belgium they did not show this opening for the running Clear Springs Breakdown Storyline. They did not even show the regular black and white opening, they showed the opening scenes, then nothing and then immediately the following scenes of the show. So no opening at all for 5 episodes ! In France they show it in a few month, but I think there that opening will not be shown either as they have the same synchronisation.
No, what they need to do is put some Y&R's best storylines (my personal favorites) from years past on DVD like the Lori Brooks murder trial, Victor holding his ex-wife Julia's secret lover hostage in a cell, when Patty shot Jack, Nikki and her sister Cassey being stalked by Edward, George & Cassandra Rawlins murder mystery, David plotting to murder Nina, the Shelia & Lauren feud. Out of the Ashes was OK, but the best storylines/writing for Y&R was back in the day IMO.

i really liked the out of the ashes week ... it was a nice change.

this was a great storyline... all of the acting was suberb by everyone. i really miss Maggie though now, she was great in this s/l.

This Is Definatley Y&R'S best writings by far. I Loved out of the ashes so much and I'm glad that no one was killed. Definatley 5 stars
