Kreator was one of my "metal-heroes" back in the 1980 decade,while the Sisters was my goth heroes. I think Kreator does a good job on this lovely song, doing it their own way, and also giving the cred the mercyful sisters deserve!!

Even though I worship the original version, and despite all the negative comments below, I think I have to admit that I actually somewhat like this cover instrumentally but the vocals ruin this. Because in the original, the hallow vocals really give a more industrial feel, but this is still a very powerful and striking cover.

As both a Kreator and Sisters fan for many many many years.....I'm not impressed by this. How can you pass up on that bass line at the beginning? If they kept this exactly how it is and brought in the bass line at the beginning it would crush.

I made the mistake of leaving the first time after suffering through the first minute of the song or so of electroca industralistic malarky....it get's better and rocks better later on at least.

Still not in my top 2 favs of covers though.

Both this and the Sisters of Mercy version rocks. This is probably my favorite cover.

I don't like Warrel Dane's version as much, especially when he uses the lower pitched vocals. Much better at power metal vocals. And this version doesn't have nearly as much atmosphere as Kreator or Sisters of Mercy versions.
