You DONT want to work on multiple joint movts or Olympic lifts every day. You dont want to never work to failure....you can do bodyweight calisthenics much more frequently...but still you need to be taking 2/3days off a week...maybe 1 or 2 if you really want to push it.
Stimulus is very important...but rest if just as important...then nutrition...2 sides of the same triangle.
i agree with the strength training aspect. your mind and body will get used to just only completing 5 reps and not having to struggle with more reps. So as you go up in weight your mind will know it only has to complete 5 reps, but a strong 5 , which will make you stronger as you move through your weeks.
