  • Ok hey Mr. Terrance is their any way your related to any simiens in baton rouge la,? I have family with the last name simien and they look alot like you lol thks

  • I go see Terrence at Cain Park every year, and is it a fun time! If you find yourself in Cleveland during July, be sure to check him out!

  • Toronto Sept 6 09Terrance Simien spoke on the cultural roots of the Zydeco. We were quite thankful to be in upbeat presence and learn so much more on the history of the music and his own personal journey as a musician for over 28 years. Keep Strong. T. SImien.

  • i love to dance i would love to create a step to zydeco also

  • Thanks so much for your interest and comment. We fully understand the close cultural connection Louisiana has w/the Caribbean, including our rich history with Haiti. For this program we have tried to better define the complexities of the rural Creoles of South and southwest Louisiana, St. Landry Parish and the Simien family who are documented as one of the earliest to settle this area. Terrance feels a close kinship to Creoles/Kreols everywhere as well as a great respect for Kreyol language.

  • But it is funny how they neve mention Haiti (Saint Domingue).

  • This is great!
