  • He is my absolute favorite pianist along with Horowitz, Lapati, and gilels, but for some reason this recording does not grab me as much as some others... I have considered all of his other Chopin recordings the best of all though. Maybe it's because it's my favorite piece by Chopin and I have literally heard every big named pianist play it, as well as some others, so I have a wide variety likenesses and expectations for it. I am definently not calling it bad at all, but it's not my favorite.
