@XBOX360BLUE Not really sure what you're asking...but I'll give it my best shot.
No, you don't need special cichlid gravel. And if you do get the cichlid gravel, a common pleco should do just fine.

@JGS187 its good for them i feed them to my african when i had them now i have peacocks use it go to ur fish store and ask for spirnula flack trust me
@MrSportsfan06 I feed them all different types of hikari pellets (sinking and floating) and about every week i feed them bloodworms..try it
