I am in training to be a PreK teacher. I am a lesbian. I can tell you right now that I have no intention of teaching children about my sexuality. I have no intention of teaching them about any sexuality BECAUSE THEIR CHILDREN. I'll bet if your kids were asked to sign an abstinence card, you'd be all for it, but because their asked not to use disgusting and homophobic language it's an issue. It isn't about the sexuality, it's about understanding the people should be treated fairly.

I thank God for my christian friends who will vote NO on Prop 8. They understand that it goes against the main fundamental teaching of Jesus, which is to love all people, for we are all created equally in the eyes of God. As she says don't just be a christian, be a good-hearted christian. That is what ANY religion should be about. To just be better ourselves and those around us, and not to be filled with hate and intolerance.
