Even if you translate to English: "For everyone everything" American people will not understad it, cause in your country everything has a cost, there is no values in that, $ is your reason to make war.
Does anyone know where from manu chao got the original speech of marcos?
I would be very interested. I'm thinking about the whole, unedited "cuarta declaration de la selva lacandona" or sth similar, but spoken by sub m. ...?
creo que en el 3:13 cuando dice "hermanos y hermanas de otras razas y otras lenguas" creo que se refiera a lenguas de idiomas no lenguas de la boca jaja.. pero its ok! :)
man i'm mexican and iknow some people in your comments let just obscents comments but appreciatte your inters for manu chao and marcos good for you man and good job 5 stars
great work, brother. thanks for making this excellent video and translating some parts of manu chao songs into english so everyone can understand his message respectively the one of the zapatistas.
Marcos is actually saying "Bad Government" and not "bad governance" when he says "mal gobierno." It's like the Zapatistas' nickname for the Mexican government-the "Bad Government."
perhaps, i'm not familiar with that specific use of malo gobierno by zapatistas. but i think its clear that the title of what he is reading that of a "manifesto" that is meant to handed to "people of other lands" under a broader idea of revolution, this all more than justifies my translation of "ill governance". thanks for the interest though!
Thanks much! I'm glad there's someone out there to for whom the material was useful. I might make a couple more on Manu Chao dealing with some sampling that he does on "infinita tristeza" and "mentira". Each one is a whole video I think and the sampling is very interesting.

If he thinks that's so easy, I will vote him for president. Marcos should stop shouting and step up heading to the big chair.

"Our fight is for the right to govern and govern ourselves
And ill governance imposes on
the many the will of few"
That's my favourite part of Marcos' speech.
Well done! Saludos de Brasil!

man, i think the song says "manifiesto en Nahuatl" not "... in Nagua".
The Nahuatl its an ancient language spoken in the south of Mexico, by our indians.
good job!

hi there,,one little mistake, may someone has already warned you... para nosotros la dignidad nos resta..means... for us the dignity is what's left.
take care

'preciate the concern but as the other guy said its "insurrecta" not "nos resta" peace...

@Morastoni YOU ARE AN IDIOT... THATS NOT WHAT IT MEANS IN THAT CONTEXT, WHAT THAT MEANS IS THAT DIGNITY IS WHAT THEY HAVE THE MOST (EZLN)
