  • i want to sell mine.i cant ride it on the condition of the roads here in greece...They are the worst roads ever.if u are interested tell me...???

  • this looks like SO MUCH FUN

  • nice video man!! assome

  • @corneto12341 yep they are awesome riders...we are just bringing in a shipment...let us know if you are game!

  • In some ways I have the feeling that this thing isnt stable enaugh for tricks like that!

  • Those thing are dum

  • anyone know where you can buy one these days? if at all possible?

  • @11282RDS yep get a hold of dhill at actionsportsenterprises at the dot com he is the new distributor

  • The front wheel turns slightly but it's more about leaning

  • hey do the wheels turn at all on this?

  • I live in northern California and I got a dirtsurfer about 5 years ago. It's really fun but I don't have the skills these guys do! Definitely harder than it looks. The best part is the warning on the bottom of the dirtsurfer. Warning dirtsurfing is a potentially dangerous sport. My dirtsurfer has knocked out so many people I'm gonna put it in mma and see how it does. Hahaha

  • this is pretty gay

  • Amazing ! How many time did you work ?

You are both goog in dirt surf and you create good vids !

  • What's better? Two wheel mountain boards or four wheel mountain boards? and why?

  • Is it downhill only, or is it possible to kick while on it? It doesn't look like foot placement would be comfortable for kicking.

  • @KumaruSworder yep it is possible to flat land with the board or you can hook up sails of all kinds...its not just a gravity sport

  • how do u stop on that???

  • at :18 there is a fag

  • I love that board;d

  • Where do i buy a dirtsurf board?!

  • @ellos34 kitewingdirtsurfer is the site you can get them for North America...where do you live ellos

  • @Kitewingdirtsurfer LOL!!!!

    I live in norway! D=

  • @ellos34 then you would visit kitewing they have some there and are in finland so they can help you there at that dot com site have fun,

  • @ellos34 visit kitewing in finland just email there they have some

  • yo in one those shots in the part he landed and strait up bent the rim. that was like a 3 foot drop. thing does not look too sturdy and if you can taco a 3 foot drop then its not worth the $450. spend your money on a decent bmx that you can actually do cool tricks on or put it to a mountain bike that can do stuff other than cross country.

  • @shua94 The board has a rear calf lever that activates a disk brake on the rear wheel. Look behind the rear leg. Simply lean back on that lever with your rear calf and it slows down smoothly.

  • @Gongaa reptile

  • the name of song!!!!

  • @moitaparaty I Need by Melissa Auf Der Maur

  • anyone know of a distributor in australia? also, whats the song?

  • @sn0wchyld I Need by Melissa Auf Der Maur

  • Hey should I get a dirtsurfer or a longboard? I live in a neighbor hood with decent hills and big backyards. My friend lives on a mountain. Thanks. Great video by the way

  • @Michskate13 longboard, its cheeper and you can push it. from the looks of this all you can do is cruise downhill which is not that bad. i just dont think its not worth 450

  • @Michskate13

longboard, its far better, u can carve, slide, drift, speed, u can ride them on flat ground for commuting, cheaper proberly, on small ones u can even ollie, u can get huge wheels for rougher roads.... its a great sport, i left normal sk8 for it, new as soon as i steeped on her!! they are fucking amazing!!!!!

  • AWESOME toy i'd like one

    /and fucking lamest song ever.

  • this looks fucking insane.

    I want one.

  • looks very intense !... how can I build one?

  • wow!!!!

  • @shua94

A Dirtsurfer comes with a leg operated brake

  • yes, i got one and i use it on flat ground . way better than a longboard as its bike wheel it ride really smootly . really easy to learn i learned this sport then i start praticing then i did world championchip 1 month after i started . this was in 2005

  • championchip ftw!

  • hi im new in this sport

so i wanna know if i can use an raodracer for offroad ?

  • @maxx7maxx7 Yes, but an FS, DH or Flexi will be a much smoother ride and give you more ground clearance.

  • how much? and how do they ride on really rocky mtb trails?... can u ride them on flat ground... kick push?

  • just Amazing!!

    the song rocks!

  • man those things look heavy....but u guys were awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • how much for one in victoria bc

  • oh god i'm loving it... how much is it for one f this babies?

  • looked weak at first but i stand corrected that was pretty kickass....and the song goes perfect with the vid very cool...

  • greatest invention ever

  • name of the song plz??????????????

  • I Need I Want I Will

  • looks amazing... is there any form of braking possible?

  • they have a disk brake on them

  • looks heavy and hard to propulsion

  • Cool vid & Cool Song!

  • How many cost one board?

  • Depends on what country you live in. They start at $299.99 in the US.

  • nice :)

  • Comment removed

  • just one question

are they easy to push like a longboard or is it strictly for bombing hills?

  • It looks like its ony for downhill...don't think you can push...

  • Yes, you can push. Check my other video: Canadian Dream for an example.

  • you can!!

  • They are much faster on the flats then a longboard, but you must push mongo.

  • wow that video was amazing

it really got to me like i need to get one now

  • no get a mountain board----------so is a dirtsurfer just a big-wheeled mountainboard??

  • mountain board is like a skateboard just with big wheels and dirtsurfer only has 2 wheels

  • i broke my 20" so i just bought a new DH

  • once you get speed it is very easy to balance

  • sick video

  • How much are these?

  • $280+

  • Dang!

  • Really nice Video, i wish i had more time to get mine done, we got some nice never seen footage from our trip, and alot from top challenge05 and 06. JM is in the vid right?

  • Yeah that's JM Sicotte

  • this looks like a mountain board mixed with a bike?

  • gongaa i am rodrir of Guadalajara my video no is very good ...dont have videos in my dirtsurfer and kite ...my video no is very good

  • that jump at 3:58 is nice. btw i live in red deer but would you recommend the 16" or 20" for me? i want to take it down some mountain paths, some pavement, but not lots of pavement but also lots of jumps and stairs.

Im 6' 5" if that helps at all, thanks.

  • I think that you will do best with a DH. Thats the 20" flexi model. You cannot really ride down stairs with the 16" flexi. If you want to be very stable and fast on road then get the GP because it is lower to the ground. The DH will flex when you're taking corners and you don't want that. I'm the blonde guy in the video and we sell dirtsurfers in Calgary at my shop. If you're interested give powerinmotion a shout.

  • The 20" is better for stairs. For jumping you'll want either the FS or DH as they have built in flex in the deck to absorb landings.

  • Im roman ..iam from guadalajara , mexico.practice dirtsurfer kite and mountain ...you are best..in dirtsurfer... my record velocity is 105 kilometers in the freeway...

  • NICE SPEED!!! 105 is AWESOME!

  • IDK if its fair or not, but my record speed is like 160km/h, being next to a car and then letting go at that speed. Ive been trying to get some videos to put here on youtube, but couldnt be able to

  • oh!! Crazy!!! Good!!

  • DUDE!!! Awesome 360 at 1:23...I'm having trouble with that one on my board...then again I ride streets and highways, not off road. Any tips on getting the landing?

  • If your rims get warped where do I buy replacment rims, because I looked on the site and they didnt sell them?

  • Any serious bike shop will carry 16" or 20" rims, but Dirtsurfer will sell them to you if you ask at info (at) dirtsurfer (dot) com

  • BIG UPS. this is a really good video!

how does it do on flat land?

  • faster than a longboard, but takes a litle more practice to skate. You have to push mongo.

  • IS this the Canadian team?

  • Yes, this is some members of the Canadian team.

  • how do u stop???

  • There is a break handle on the back of it.

  • using your rear calf you apply pressure to a lever behind your leg that activates the disk brakes. You can also powerslide.

  • NICE FREESTYLIN! pushin that envelope!

  • i checked the website, and i was wondering how much one of these are.?

  • what country do you live in?

  • Usa

  • Prices range from 279 to 549 in the US

  • look in the dealers section of the website to find a shop near you.

  • thanks

  • hey i like the video man, its siiick. i wish i had places like that to ride in chile. the grinding thing, what board was that?? 16 inch wheels i presume, is it?

  • thanks dude! the grinding was done on the FS model (called the Freestyle or Flexi 16" in some countries). yeah it has 16" wheels.

  • i love this thing man, at first i wanted to try a world record of speed, hahahaah but now im getting bored cause there no comps in my country

  • i bet there a lot heavier than my mountainboard... must be difficult to jump up?

  • You guys should make a vid with more grinding...that's my skater side talking.

    But still, sick vid.

  • i want one where can i get them??

  • i think Demon Xtreme sell them

  • depends where u live

  • Check dirtsurfer dot com and look in the dealers section

  • ty man i checked it it says the closest place is new york cuz i live in connecticut but is that the ONLY place or could there be like a local store thats not listed? psh i need onee

  • No, all stores are listed - sorry. If you want your local store to carry them, just ask them to order one for you. Dirtsurfer will sell them one and they can sell it to you.

  • sweet ty man

  • how do the disc breaks work.... and how easy are they to ride.... im a longboarder and really like the idea of the dirt surfer and am seriously thinking about getting one as a result of seeing this video.

  • the foot brake pulls a wire, so two pieces of idk close on the disk brake so you can stop

  • love this vid i have a GP 16' i love it because its small, easy to do tricks

  • how is the front wheel attached?

im saving up for my FS but i wanna make one just so i can get good

  • via a swing arm that is attached to the frame at the nose. The arm is bolted through, and pivots on, two bearings inserted into the frame at the nose. The other end of the swing-arm has drop-outs made to accept a standard bmx wheel.

  • How do you stop on those things? If you're

gonna ride off road, you have to yield use

of the trail to hikers and people on

horseback, just like a mountain biker.

  • There is a brake lever behind the rear calf. Push against it with your calf slightly and it activates a disk brake on the rear wheel. They are actually extremely easy to stop. Yes, we yield to pedestrians and people on horseback.

  • AMAZING VID!!!! GRRRRR ANGER, GRRRR

  • pretty cool vid

  • Power Slide!!

  • i am building my dirtsurfer from scratch but i'l be using 12 inch wheels :-( because i found them at an old man with 2$ each . Do u guys think it will be god four freestyle?

  • god four freestyle. NO. Just buy an FS

  • Why pay up to £300/$600 for something if you can make one for around £50/$100?

Go for it abramatreata ;o) Just be sure and post the results on here!

Does the front pivot have any damping (e.g. rubber bushes), or is it just a free bearing?

If I didn't have so much else to do I'd have one made by now too :o)

  • i made one with DC motor for 40$, MadBoard on youtube

  • i like this video. i ordered my FS and it should arrive this week! lol. im so pumped.

  • u buy it off ebay? cuz if you did you out bided me

  • That Was Really Good I Like It

Gongaa what is the best ride to use like freestyle or something else

  • The FS is the bext one for freestyle hands-down! Some countries call it the Flexi 16". In Canada and the US we call it the FS.

  • Amaizing! Now all we waiting for is backflip! ;) Cheers!!

  • Going to Snowmass, Colorado next week. It may happen...

  • best of freestyle

  • that music is weird, but the riding is awesome. Looks like the skate park riding is a little clutsy. Where is that?

  • The skatepark is Millenium in Calgary, Alberta, Canada

  • wow you guys are getting really good at editing..excellent that was phenominal..Im gonna watch it again
