Cause I doubt 7.62x54 tracer rounds (my most powerful round.. I need to upgrade soon) will not pierce armor..
A SPAS-12 isn't exactly tactical per se, hence why Franchi stopped making it. Its too heavy and switching it from pump to semi-automatic is too difficult to be practical in a combat situation. Its not ergonomic by any means. But it looks damned intimidating.
@SierraTangoGuns It doesn't matter if the switching is practical. In a SHTF situation, your going to want to use any kind of ammunition you can find. If your SPAS jams on semi with lower power loads, you can simply switch to pump and keep going.

The high point carbine we did get to explode but lol it TOOK ALOT and all we did was send it to the factory and within a month we got a brand new one. They are guaranteed. The trouble is you've got a whole lot of different calibres there. In a shtf situation long term your going to need to find a lot of different kinds of ammo.
I saw something on TV about the Steyr that piqued my interest. What's your review on the Steyr? It's a little out of my price range right now, but I definitely want to give one a test drive.

I do believe you can send a pistol round that far, however if it did hit some one Idon't think it would over effective. The velocity just isn't there. But popping a balloon at that range with your pistol would sure impress your friends. Nice video man.

Good collection of firearms, and I beleave very good picks. That being said the part about the .40 S&W even in the kel-tec 2000 and the 300 yrd shot is B.S. Yes the bullet may travel that far with a little accuracy, but as far as it doing any damage at all is false. It takes 226 foot pounds to enter a torso and at 150 yrds the .40 only has 369 flbs with a 155gr bullet a little more with the 180gr. But Your combo of kel-tec and glock is a good one.
@zipyote 22 lr subsonic 38gr. energy at 100 yards is 69 ft/lb. if you think that won't enter just try it. a 40 out of a pistol will knock the shit out of you at 300 yards let alone out of a 16" barrel. 300 yards is not really that far. a guy just shot an amish girl with a muzzle loader at a distance of 1.5 miles. a muzzle loader with black powder dude 1.5 miles that is 2600.4 yards. head shot poor girl is dead tell her family your theory.

Nice armory, but can you clarify something for me? I thought SPAS-12's were illegal in the US for their lack of sporting purposes, excluding the name or is that even a SPAS?
As secondary weapons, we have put aside AR15's and an XD 9mm's for SHTF military ammo compatibility. We also have a 30-06 (Savage) bolt action for long range. Our main battery is built around 357 Mag, (revolvers and lever action rifles), AND the 30-30 (lever actions). We hand load for 357&30-30; our 357 rifle ammo can head-shoot @ 200+yds(peep-sights), & scoped 30-30 to 400+yds. ALL are under-the-radar, but extremely deadly & capable in trained hands. We avoid camo & stay inconspicuous.
@beyondthelol Probably the easiest rifle to acquire at a flea market, yard sale or other off-the-record private sale, is a 30-30 lever action. I've seen them go in private sales as low as $250! Awesome rifles and caliber, TOTALLY overlooked by modern shooters. With modern Hornady flex-tip ammo, the 30-30 is deadly accurate to 300+ yards.
The good 'ol lever action slides totally under the urban radar, yet is precision DEADLY!

Your theory with The .22 sub-sonic and 69 foot lbs at 100 yards I am sure it goes right thru your paper target. I have a kel-tec 2000 and I know it's limitations first hand, and good luck knocking The shit out of someone at 300 yards with a pistol.

Good collection of firearms, and I beleave very good picks. That being said the part about the .40 S&W even in the kel-tec 2000 and the 300 yrd shot is B.S. Yes the bullet may travel that far with a little accuracy, but as far as it doing any damage at all is false. It takes 226 foot pounds to enter a torso and at 150 yrds the .40 only has 369 flbs with a 155gr bullet a little more with the 180gr. But Your combo of kel-tec and glock is a good one.

@zipyote 22 lr subsonic 38gr. energy at 100 yards is 69 ft/lb. if you think that won't enter just try it. a 40 out of a pistol will knock the shit out of you at 300 yards let alone out of a 16" barrel. 300 yards is not really that far. a guy just shot an amish girl with a muzzle loader at a distance of 1.5 miles. a muzzle loader with black powder dude 1.5 miles that is 2600.4 yards. head shot poor girl is dead tell her family your theory.

as far as SHTF situation goes, me and my family luckily moved in by 3 neighbors that own guns, we all have atleast 4 mosin nagants for each family member. and all of us have a few semi auto and plenty of ammo. and theres a farm not to far away.. so we get in alot of shooting practice. its like.. heaven!

As secondary weapons, we have put aside AR15's and an XD 9mm's for SHTF military ammo compatibility. We also have a 30-06 (Savage) bolt action for long range. Our main battery is built around 357 Mag, (revolvers and lever action rifles), AND the 30-30 (lever actions). We hand load for 357&30-30; our 357 rifle ammo can head-shoot @ 200+yds(peep-sights), & scoped 30-30 to 400+yds. ALL are under-the-radar, but extremely deadly & capable in trained hands. We avoid camo & stay inconspicuous.

@beyondthelol Probably the easiest rifle to acquire at a flea market, yard sale or other off-the-record private sale, is a 30-30 lever action. I've seen them go in private sales as low as $250! Awesome rifles and caliber, TOTALLY overlooked by modern shooters. With modern Hornady flex-tip ammo, the 30-30 is deadly accurate to 300+ yards.
The good 'ol lever action slides totally under the urban radar, yet is precision DEADLY!
Whatever you get, PRACTICE constantly.

I quess you didnt listen to the hole video. I like guns, I have collected guns for years because I like them. I look at guns like people look at paintings. I have had guns for years and I only started prepping a year ago, so I dont have guns for all of the reasons you listed above.
