  • I wish I had your video to watch two years ago when I got my corn stalks. I ended up using pvc pipes and cuting them about three inches and driving them into the ground to hold the corn stalks. I like your way much better! Unfortunately my supplier of corn doesn't grow it now, so I have to find another source. I think I'm going to try growing a few stalks myself this year.

  • @Joiseygal The farmer I found grows corn and soybeans at the same time. Farmer usually rotate their fields from corn to soy. So he has corn every year. What I like about my method is that it is almost free every year to build the field. Usually I have to buy a couple extra posts. And I do suggest spending the extra buck and buying the heavy duty posts.

  • where did you get the corn for your maze please wright back

  • I get the corn from a local farmer for free. The deal is that I leave the ears of corn there because that's how he makes his money. So when you start seeing corn growing go talk to some farmers and tell them you only need the stalks. It takes around 400 to 500 stalks to complete my maze. I use a machete to cut the corn down and you can get one at walmart for like 10 bucks. And the ears of corn you and twist and pull off. Good luck.

  • I love it I used all those tactics in my haunt and I made this one big man about 35 cry his eyes out. We had to call his wife to come and get him out

  • Good vid I used alot of things in it for my haunted house

  • @hello147ify Thank you I was happy I could help.

  • lol directed by enter your name here lol hello there eneter your name here good vid lol

  • LOL,,u go all out for Halloween just like we do..This will be our 10th year.I always have problems getting people together as actors to help scare,,we only do ours on oct 30-31.The past few years we began doing ghost hunts on Oct 31 when we close down the spook house. We almost didnt do it last year,,and had about 60 people come by on Oct 30 and ask if we could please set up sumthing for halloween.lol,,Great video,,thumbs up.

  • @donttrustsnowmen It is a wonderful feeling when you start getting a following. So with your ghost hunt to you go on a pay tour or just do it yourself? That is one area that has fascinated me. I ran my haunt last year for only Halloween weekend this year its the last two weekends because I would hate to do all this work and gamble on the weather of October in the Midwest. You keep up the good work, years from now these kids and adults will remember Halloween because of haunters like us.

  • @sean2374 We go to local places that are claimed to be haunted on our ghost hunt.We have a graveyard that claims a Devils Head is on a tombstone,Haunted railroad tracks, and there is a bridge called Cry Baby bridge a few miles from us,every year we caught orbs, mist on camera that couldnt be seen by eyes.i have a video of a ghost hunt and we caught a Figure on the tracks and a face on a tombstone.Ur rite we have ppl come here since we started and really enjoy the memories of it..

  • You are man after my own heart! I really miss doing my haunted house but all my monsters grew up and move away so I had to lend my experience to our local "big production" haunted house in town to get my scares :-). The good thing is, the guy who runs it is also a big sweetheart and pretty much lets us home-haunters do almost anything we want.

  • @303430 Thanks I try my best, but its fun to me. And the real pay off is seeing everyone having fun going through it. But the hardest thing is actually finding enough actors.

  • Thanks TheCupCakeKillers, 15 is about the age I started. I just use the same material for the roof as I use for the wall. Black painters tarp, it really durable and I cut slits in it for rain to come through. I found out if you don't do that the rain has no where to go and will pull the roof down. So are the scene setters those plastic covers or are you talking about the foam walls?

  • @sean2374 oh the plastic covers...but just be careful they are not really air resistant

  • I am 15 and I put up a haunted house every year also.It gets bigger and better every Halloween! For walls I use the scene setters that I order online..the best roof i can find so far is tarp.Well I think what you are doing is really neat and keep up the awesome work!!

  • Hopefully this weekend I can put up some of my walls just to show how I do it. They will not have black plastic on them but you should get the idea.

  • I am located just twenty miles east of St Louis over in Illinois. And I can tell you the hardest thing about decorating your yard for Halloween is the wind. You have too always plan for some high winds or you are going to lose your stuff or its going to break.

  • @sean2374 Yeah I know what you mean. I live in Pennsylvania and during fall winds are horrible. I made the mistake of hanging a tarps between two 4x4's to make a walls. So all my walls were basically sails.

  • nice haunted house and u r REALLY nice

  • @7774bruins Thank you, next week I will be building so more walls for new rooms of my haunt. So I will be recording to show people how easy it is. The walls I build aren't expensive and are pretty sturdy. My structure was up for over a month and that's being in the midwest.

  • @sean2374 Where are you in the midwest? Im a bit north of chicago and do a haunt

  • cool

  • Wow really cool haunt!!! I Subscribed.... Subscribe back if you can to help our Youtube haunt community grow!!!

  • Of coarse, actors are a lot better then any prop you and buy or make. I had four and next year I will probably have more like eight because its going to be bigger.

  • Didi you have any actors at night
