And now, one of his shows has become immensely popular and the other has only a cult following. The music of Home Movies will always be better, in my opinion. When hearing a song and instantly being brought back to a specific time and place in my life I consider it to posses more merit than anything Jimmy Monet or Deathklok could ever produce. You'll never hear Brendon Small talking about Home Movies or the music from it, but I feel deep inside that he holds it dearer to him than people think.

Brendon Small has foretold the coming of Metalocalypse. This whole episode is based on the 'new world' (Metalocalypse and Jimmy Monet) and the 'old world' (Home Movies and Duane). While both the new world is face-melting, fast paced, and technically astounding, the old world possesses substance and heart. One is flash, the other is emotion. You can't exactly say which one is better, that is subjective. But the differences are clear, and this song really stands out as an effigy to the 'old world'
