At 1:51 she should stand up on the pickup and use the pitchfork to throw the hay down to the cattle, which is how a seasoned rancher would do it. I have been working around cattle all my life and if that woman is a rancher this must be her first time feeding the cattle.
Now Now feeding techniques are important but not as important as getting the animals fed in a timely manner. I have to come to her defense she is my wife after all. LOL
She is not a full-time rancher but does a great job when she is helping out.

Cattle that are corn/grain feed gain more weight quicker. The beef from these animals also has a flavor that is preferred. The drawback is this beef has more fat and less CLA.
Cattle that are strickly "grass-fed" yield a meat that is much higher in vit. c, beta-carateen, minerals, and has nuch healthier fats. Also they don't need to be injected with antibiotics cause they're not going to be always sick like maize-fed cows. More and more people are choosing it too. So you're completly wrong.

Im not an american farmer Im British and Im not a farmer I work on a farm and being a British farmer is something to be very proud of considering that DEFRA and everyone else doesnt care at all and because of that their crops have been forced down to such a low price that alot of farmers in fact lose money yet still they farm and produce huge yields. He says that obviously you need o put up winter feeds and maize is a very good option in the area in which I live.
