Beautiful? They are mean. You run into one of them out where I live and you'll get 100 stitches +. Its legal to hunt them- and heck, why not? They kill chickens out on the farm- and will hurt a dog, or kill them. They can kill something that ways up to 8 times there own weight. Unless you know the facts, dont say not to hunt them and all this bullcrap.

To all you people that have tried to raise chickens and let them free range or once had wild rabbit in your back yard or lost a number of family pets on your small farm...you know what these preditors really are. They kill everything that moves even small deer. Yes, they're pretty but they are not endangered to say the least. At one point in time (70's) Maine Fish and Game would pay you$15 for one.

You can shoot it if you have a license to shoot it. They were turkey hunting, not hunting for bobcats.
