not as much soul as many I've heard, but the playing for a guy only 19 isnt that bad. Theyre not the best now but if they work at it i can see them (or at least Oli) turning into a great Blues band/player.

ps. The British blues scene does have more to offer than this, check out Joe Bonamassa's recent (and older) stuff for example

all these people comparing these guys to classic blues acts are helping destroy the music industry, if young musicians try to sound like them, they are criticised as impersonators, but if they try a new take on an old style of music, apparently they shouldn't bother, because it's been done better. Give us new musicians a break, its really hard to do anything completely new, because most of the groundbreaking stuff happened in the 60s an 70s. At least these guys aren't a clone indie group.

Don't judge the band on just 1 poor quality youtube video. I've seen them lives a number of times and they're excellent! Bear in mind that they're still young as well..Oli is only 19. Very impressive to be as good a singer/song writer and guitarist at that age, if you ask me.

Finally someone realises! Thank you i totally agree, ive heard so much fuss made about this band and i was really shocked when i heard them. Oli just is not a very good player end of. Plus the band are crap no soul what so ever.
