I had called the company that I now work for several times before getting fired and was told they did not know if they were looking. It took only 2 weeks from getting fired to start working here. They never said they were looking over the phone. Only that I should send a resume. I absolutely love my job now and going to places that say they are looking is not a good idea.

I have a my life-long friend who joined the army, most friends (with jobs) living with parents, our house was sold, and in my 19 years have never held a job (not for lack of trying). My sister thinks I'm lazy, but I'm really just giving up on humanity. And love.

you should join the army too. There are jobs in the army that will provide the skills so when you get out you can get a job that pays $80k per year.

It's all about experience and education. You need one of the above to get ahead in life.

The army pay a low wage but in this recession it's great plus you might get a bonus and you'll get about $70k for college when you finish 3 years.

How do they know exactly number of unemployed? There are millions of U.S. people without SS#'s. The Number is far more. They can only reference a very vague number. So we can only guess the real # of unemplyment. My guess is 50-55%. Then the underemployment is far greater. There are only 5-10% of the population employed, these are the ELITE.

Also, since income disparity decrease; as richest people could not consume as much as civil service as they could . Ending in more healt care, education, safety, and all other civil services would be spread more amoung the total population, with lower prices.
