  • or 3:40-3:42 to be exact

  • 3:42 thats a AIM 9, not a antitank missile ok, plus its fired from what looks like a cobra helicopter which can be armed with 2 AIM 9s, so that proves my point

  • very nice documentry

  • missiles might be good at destroying tanks but they forgot about the trophy system mouted on israeli tanks but i'm sure when this came out it was still classified or under development by israel

  • they want tanks where you dont see who your killing, you just see the virtual battlefield.. that way they can put little osama heads on the enemy, and the soldiers wont even know theyre killing their own countrymen;)

  • Rubbermaid tank! Lol

  • Many of those information are incorrect. For example:

Airdroppable tank - look on Russia. They can do it over 20 years so which revolution he talking about?

The latest smart missiles - more than 30 years of its existence mean NEW? Even S-200 has its own inteligence and it was developed in time when computers were big like a wardrobe.

Future combat system - Who the will be so stupid to gen in that tank? Can you imagine how good it will be in mud terain? And Im not mention PLASTIC TANK! Gooood xD

  • @BlackGoose2

um when they said it can be parachuted from a plane they meant from high altitudes before you had to fly low and slow then drop the tank

the the future combat system was scrapped

  • I dont like how they putting US machines and technologies to a primary part of the document... Only US weapons and technologies are detaily shown, but others have got less than 2 minutes to show up... AND in those destrctive videos they showing how they shooting at RUSSIAN vehicles and demonstrating effect on them. C'mon.. We are not in Cold War anymore dumb! I hope I'll see some interesting things about Challanger 2, Leopard 2 and T-90.. But it waste of time. Its just like NATO (USA) propadanda

  • @BlackGoose2

Most likely it's becuase it's a US show... i mean.. would you let another country make a documentary about your tanks? doubt it... so it's not that they dont want to do it, it's that they most likely arent alowed to do it... oh and as for using russian tanks for target practice? does it matter whose tanks they're using? after all they could very well be fighting Irish tanks in a few years or some creepy shite like that...

anyways i'm off.. got some ideas for a Ratte like tank

  • Based on his comments, I assume this is Pre us invasion of half the middle east. Troop numbers on the decrease lol. I wonder if there is a new tank model based on our current war? We dont have almost any use for tanks against insurgents. Tanks are only for killing tanks.

  • ARMY MEN TANKS

  • That tiny tank looks kinda cool...but dang..2 crew..holy crap....its got an auto loader and everything else?

  • It's me again...

Except the AGM114-L variation, the hellfire missiles are no fire-and-forget weapons, but need help from a vehicel, helicopter or ground team to find the target, for example with a laser.

The AGM114-L doesn't need that laser. because it is a fire-and-forget...

For short range shooting targets CAN be marked with a laser but don't need to be, on long ranges, the missile is guided by its own mmw seeker, without help from other troops.

Why do all people mix it up?

  • THE PLASTIC TANK. Both recyclable.... And enviromentaly healthy ;D LOL!

  • At 2:57 if hellfires are fire and forget how can they be guided by a laser? Thats not fire and forget.

  • @davidatheist The laser is just a target-marker. And it can still be aimed through the sights even if the pilot wants to look away. He just designates the target and the missile destroys it.

  • @NobleKorhedron So the laser paints the target the missile then stores an image of the painted target, the missile can then find its way to the target based on the stored information without the need for the laser to remain on target.

  • @davidatheist Yeah, pretty much!!

  • @NobleKorhedron thanks

  • tanks can be airlifted now by globmasters

  • @nachospole1 Yes, but how many C-177's does the U.S own?! And how many tanks are realistically needed for a modern war? There's no way you could fly that many in in time.

  • @nachospole1 Well how many tanks are realistically needed to fight a modern armoured battle? And how many C-117's does the U.S own? Each can realistically only fly one or two tanks - you do the math!!

  • @NobleKorhedron being able to airlift takes could help when they are needed to be repared and if u battle group needs fast resupply so being able to airlift them is helpfull u wouldnt use them as ur main way of transporting them but being able to could save lives

  • eviltwin777 gets thumbed down for telling the truth...

  • Funny how Soviet tactics have been bashed by the US (and other western nations) and now the US itself is picking up these ideas to use them in their next generation tank, the same ideas they so widely criticized - low profile, reduced crew, autoloader is most likely going to be present, lightweight and air dropable, general Soviet requirement.

  • A-10s are evil

    evil period!

  • @TheProjektcc Nah, they're just tough motherfuckers.... They can take tremendous punishment and still fly home. The reason they're officially known as the A-10 Thunderbolt II is in honour of the WWII P-47 Thunderbolt - which was another U.S ground attack aircraft that was as tough in it's own day and it's own way as the Warthog is now...

  • coool boooom nothing left shoot

  • We kind of copied the Russians with the lower profile idea.

  • 8000 stand-by tanks @ 4 million bucks apiece is 32 billion dollars. A modest portion of the trillion dollars spent every year on the US war machine. As long as the military & prison industries are lucrative businesses by which vast wealth is transferred & yet-unborn populations are made to assume enormous (ie., unpayable) debt, there will never be any incentive to make war & crime obsolete. Unless, the resulting massive financial collapse and gov bankruptcy makes us all indentured serfs. Cheers!

  • No hiding place for tanks other than everysingle modern one with radar jammers, infrared scramblers and smoke screens. =D

  • Hold the fucking phone, is it just me or do that 40 ton tanks look familiar i mean i think i saw this tank in a video game a couple of years back,i mean look at it.

  • lol - a plastic tank - and it will be 100% recyclable!

  • MILAN is a French and German missile that has been license-built by the Italians, Spanish, British and Indians.

  • That's my father's name :D

  • russian black eagle is the most advanced tank so far

  • What happened to the Black Eagle...I hope they didn't cancel it. Cause honestly that was an awesome tank.

  • They DID cancel it.. Other model was chosen. And the company behind Black Eagle project went broke.

  • ...Behind the Abrams, Challenger 2 and Leo 2

  • Sorry, you are not informed enough.

  • Leo>russian anything

  • lol ur joking right...

  • Tank buster LOL.Thankyou very much.

  • thanx for the Upload Snippy
