i 100% agree with seeing Karnivool live... i dunno how they manage to sound better than the CD live in person but they pull it off! i think Nine Inch Nails is the only other band that really slays it live on that level but NIN "live vs CD" are two different monsters... seeing Karnivool live and then trying to listen to the CD after that is like going from FLAC to 96kbps mp3
