@airpower123 Plans for the future is to make MCA, No helicopters as of now, working on Medium combat aircraft and LCA mark 2 aircraft, but After Induction of LCH, HAL is very keen in making heavy combat helicopters

@TheWarriorIndian do you know where we are in terms of tanks? i know india's main battle tank is the T72 russian tanks. sri lanka's uses type 69 chinese tanks. i think we should induct more of our own weoponary into the armed forces, it will help us in the long run. also working off a single defence budget for resreach and develpment will help us greatly as well, it will prevent double spending on defence programes. do you know what i mean by double spending?

@airpower123 ,Well Our MBT is not t-72, Our MBT is T-90 considered as one of the best in the world, and there was a recent trials between India's Arjun and russian T-90, Arjun came superior, but India dosent want Arjun as its heavy and Deploying from one place to another is difficult, But MBT arjun is getting a bit leaner and Lighter so that it can be our MBT.....

Sri lanka should Do A minimum R&D till the economy settles down, and look to cut imports and use your own products
