@dchoyt82 Haha, you got to be joking! Better than David Cook?? I dont think so. Perhaps you havent actually listened to anything David has done before, during, or after Idol! I love Lee! However, he is no David Cook. Having said that, Lee will go on to do amazing things because he is very talented!
people compare him to david cook, but lets be real, Hes quite a bit better than david cook....this guy is Great He is going to be at the very least in the finale, and either way he will become very famous within a year or 2 at most..
Where's this Lee on AI? If he learns how to exude confidence like this, he is for sure going to win this competition! He is improving every week and I can see him getting to this level by the finale :) BeLEEve!
HE is so amazing!!!!!! I adore him, i heard him sing at some place in Chicago when i went up with my friend and loved him but couldn't remember his last name but when i saw him i AI i knew it was him, his voice is so unique, he is great
So I think Lee just needs some time to really find his bearings. But I definitely think he has potential. I'm not sure if he can be the next DC because Dave is amazing (especially his cover of AiC's "Man in the Box" that he did when I saw him last Spring), but I think he could definitely be the best guy of the current group. I hope to see him in the Finale.
Remember "Hello" was David's 3rd performance of the competition. His first one was the kind of awkward "Happy together" and then he did "All Right Now', which was good, but still not spectacular. The first couple of weeks, everyone thought that Michael Johns was going to be the stand-out Rocker until Dave really surprised everyone with "Hello" in Week 3 and became the one to beat (which no one did). But even he needed a few weeks to really find his voice and confidence,and everything.
David Cook had "IT" from the get go. Remember "hello"? I'm looking for that originality. Lee has a good voice but I don't think he has that falsetto that Cook has.
Notice you could barely the crowd chatting by the end of his song ~ soothed his audience :)

Wow I love his voice! I've been to Fitzgerald's many times to see my friends play. Could of seen Lee. Hope he makes it far. Defenitely my favorite.
