Get over it! It's been a curse from the start! Last time the Leafs won the Stanley Cup was 1967. HNIC theme started playing the tune in 1968. Coincidence? I think not!

the theme makes me feel proud to be Canadian. honestly, cbc are a bunch of losers. this theme is more recognized as Canadian than maple syrup!

In 1997 a girl called lauren was walikng in a forest and then a she just dissapeared no one ever found her untill 2000 when a yoing girl called Mary found her body and markings on her chest saying: I wasnt pretty enough" and now you have read this she will appear in your mirror saying your not pretty enough and kill you. by the way the girl called mary died shortly after.

i wish the theme stayed with cbc, but its interesting how tsn wasted no time and played the song on sports centre as soon as they got it, like they were rubbing it in cbc's face

First the CBC orchestra is zapped in Vancouver ...now this. What a complete insult. Wake up Canadians ... the North American Union is just around the corner. There are more shocks to come and soon. Even though I believe the HNIC theme is GONE I still say fire all the CBC staff who contributed to this fiasco.

It costs the CBC $30K a year, that's what the coporate clowns at the CBC spend per month on a limo. What do you expect from the CBC? Money pit for our tax dollars.

Its probably the most classic piece of canadian music ever. Its engraved deeper in my mind than the canadian anthem. It's not hockey night in Canada without it.

Keep the song. If they want to save money get rid of some of their shitty made for Canadian TV movies. Hell, get rid of Don Cherry, but keep the song.
