He was talking about the declaration of independence... he slipped up, wasn't reading from a teleprompter.
He's said he doesn't consider himself the leader of the republican party. He was discussing conservative values.
Doesn't it hurt you when you see your paycheck and the government took about 20% away from you? That's the government saying, "I am taking the money you earned because I can spend it more wisely than you can."
Conservatives believe you can spend it more wisely... is that bad?

Well you need to get the Republican party back to it's core values or people for that matter. It has been hijacked by Uber Religious NEOCONS! I they have pretty much destroyed the conservative party.
As far as Rush "Slippin' up" He would be all over anyone outside "his" party for any mistake. I have listened to his show from time to time. He is an arrogant blowhard with actual nuggets of knowledge. He should never be their leader. If the REB had a better candidate than.. Well I voted Bob Barr.
