He has an IQ over 200, he's an intelligent man then, we know that already, but then you start saying well why is he not fair game, and we are?The point is if you start exclaiming, you can't make fun of him for such and such, or him for such and such you acknowledge that there is a boundary and a difference between us all as humans, and the last thing they want is to be treated differently. Yes he is smart, but he is far from the smartest. In academic circles he is known and respected, but he is NOT considered to be a leader in the field of theoretical physics at all by other physicists. He has a high public profile because of his condition, that does not make him 'the smartest'.
