there's a hilarious video out there somewhere from my japanese class of tom singing in japanese about how he wants to spoon his new "kari-kari" ("crispy"--tom just thought it was a funny word) guitar. i'll try to track it down. i can't believe he's gone. the two of us always used to ask our teacher how to say naughty things in japanese without her catching on: "oh, that's how you say 'play the flute?' just out of curiosity, how do you say 'skin'?" miss you, Tom. rest in peace, buddy.
