A person's attitude does matter, and all that one person does to help themselves regain their health. Someone who continues to have faith and move forward even when things are tough, is an inspiration. I'd say that Sam's 9+ years of having faith,,doing all that he does to help himself, and being willing to submit to God's will is inspiring!!

@tomlive123 Someones attitude can make all the difference if someone will overcome a fatal condition. If someone no longer has the will to live, they will not. My grandparents died 1 month apart. This is not some coincidence, as the doctor told us it is very common. The will to live was solely for their spouse, and when they lost them, they lost there will, and succambe to their age. Sure med's work, and attitude alone will not do miracles, but do not sell the kid short.
