@ANALBANIA well, the whole south italy was part of Magna Grecia. Although we don't speak anymore greek ( except the zone of minorance - Grecia Salentina, and some parts of calabria) we have same culture, food etc. Also our dialects, we speak (Sicilian, calabrian, salentino) is influenced more from greek than from italian language. So the rest of italy has problems to understand us, when we speak dialect.
Also there is a lot of racism in Italy. Especialy Northern Italy....
@Italianissimo86 io sono foggian mai io parla NAPOLETAN perche a paise mio ciam Roseto Valfortore e stad a vuneed a benevento e lun a passad alor i parla napulatan pero forz tut i lungue di sud italia
@ANALBANIA because they don't understand our culture. It's like you have two different cultures in one nation. But anyway, there are also arbereshe zones in Italy.
So also albania influenced us a lot. Consider the fact, that Salento was settled by Messapi ( an ancient illyrian tribe) - and Illyrians came from the todays albanian country.
I don't understand, why Albanian and Greek are in trouble. They are two great nations.
the origin of these italian folk of todays calabria were the Sanniti , greeks call them Saunitai the Romeans call them Samnites, the language of these people was Oscian (lingua osca) , they was there before the greeks came to the south of italy to build greek cities
