@PerfectSSJ4 Yep! On CBS sat morn for 2 seasons from 1991-1993, won an award for best children's progaming, and came back on 4KIDS's FOXBOX! Check it out on wikipedia!
They may have been capitalising on the success of the movies, but I actually remember it being a fairly well-done and engaging cartoon. They got some of the original cast back in the show, and the cartoon format allowed them to explore some really interesting story ideas.
wow....i loved all the movies (except for the third, not a big western type lover) but i did not know there was a cartoon series. but now i'm not surprised seeing it came from the 80's
@jessieiskoo Correct me if I'm wrong here, but didn't the first movie end with "To be continued..." Shouldn't that mean the 2nd movie was made not because the first one was successful but because they were planning to make a sequel to the movie all along?
@TEKITOcreations actually no. originally it did not end with a to be continued. when the first one was successful they decided to make the two sequels. mind you i like them just as much as the original
Great Scott! Sorry, folks, Im completely wrong! The date is MAY *2015* which would mean this incident is five months BEFORE the Hoverboard Rampage in BttF II (Oct 26 2015).
Griff probably thought Marty was his son and was gonna pick on him. This May encounter probably got him to upgrade his bionics and get the Pitbull Hoverboard. He never had any idea the encounter in Cafe 80s was actually his SECOND tangle with Marty Sr, but it's the first encounter Marty had with him. Funny how time works.
He dropped them off in each respective era to run some errands. Clara wanted to get something at some general store. Jusles wanted to do some firsthand research and seemingly got stuck with Vern, and I dont know what Marty wanted. Maybe he was getting his new hoverboard. Doc simply went to go pick them up.
Einsteint driving the train, okay, THAT is retarded.
Yeah. Spielburg's gotta make a dozen new JAWS movies with bad hologram sharks.
Not to mention Mr Fusion, the Black & Decker rehydrator, Anti-gravity for hoverboards, invent Hovoline and dust repellent paper, trash droids, all-natural overhauls, flying cars, cheap bionics, suspended hibernation kennels, thumbpad door entries.
I'm sorry... what?

Why must they cancel every interesting classic cartoon. Like speed racer, the dukes, and BTTF.
string227 3 years ago 2
To be fair, this show was only milking the success of the trilogy.

Sener, though that comment was insultive to BTTF, it was hilarious! LOL

The date Doc goes to is May 19 2015. eight months after October 26, 2015 when Griff Tannen's rampage landed him in jail.
I guess what was basically vandalism carried a lighter jail term and he got out early or Biff has more than one grandson than Griffith.
