Does anyone know what has been done with the original (and beautiful) ticket office? I was there a couple of years ago (08) and it was boarded up still.
@RangersLadForever When you go into the front entrance the old ticket office is in the left hand corner if you're facing where the platforms used to be. You could also exit the station through here too. In 08 the wood panelled ticket booth was still in place, as was the wood panelling along the wall. I was rather sad that after all the celebration as to the finishing of the station they'd left this part neglected.
Inspector sans means its a fire alarm could be testing or could be the real thing but from here looks like a test we do it in clapham junction everyweek
Thanks for posting this. I was a bit surprised to see so many diesel trains under the trainshed... must impart a rather oily taste to the champagne at that long bar!
